Once again the lack of discipline is such a glaring focal point. Devin Leary is definitely not the answer at quarterback. Going for the onside kick at the start of the 2nd quarter was a good coaching move although it didn't pan out the way hoped. Giving up the touchdown on the fake punt was a real momentum changer. Time to go back to the drawing board and find ways to simplify the offense to the extent Leary can work within.

Any information on the JV game?

Louisville in a close one.

Big Ray Davis fan and though Cats need him a lot they need Leary and the receiving core to be on the same page. Throwing and catching will determine the win!

Playing their starters for a half or less in the Dale Mueller Era was never an issue and didn't stop multiple state championships. Shouldn't be an issue at all..

Rio played in all 4 quarters of varsity action. He was the QB or holder on every PAT and field goal. He’s a very talented passing QB. Last night was smash time. The two freshmen apparently have JV well covered.

Don't think it's realistic to advance in the ratings following a loss when the team in front of you put a beat down on a very good team.

Good focused win. Birds started great and took any thoughts of a competitive game out of the equation early. Now to buckle down and get ready for district play. On to Cooper!
