I’ll be surprised if this team wins another game this year. Coen needs to go back to the NFL and take his hand picked QB with him. 

That was ugly in every way. For me the starting point is lack of discipline. The number of penalties are very controllable and tells me this team cracked under the pressure. That is on coaching.

Stoops has CONSISTENTLY mismanaged the end-of-1st-halves throughout his entire career. He never tries to pour-it-on, and almost always allows the other team to score and gain momentum.

I would love to ask him "how's that working out for you?"

More penalty yards than passing yards - in a game where you have to pass - is a losing formula. 

Once again the lack of discipline is such a glaring focal point.  Devin Leary is definitely not the answer at quarterback.  Going for the onside kick at the start of the 2nd quarter was a good coaching move although it didn't pan out the way hoped.  Giving up the touchdown on the fake punt was a real momentum changer.  Time to go back to the drawing board and find ways to simplify the offense to the extent Leary can work within.

Let’s not underestimate the Missouri squad, long and lean with several nice athletes that can run and cover.

UK will just never be relevant in the SEC.

If there ever was a season to take the next step it needed to be this year.  
Adding OU and Texas is going to make things so much more difficult

I fear you are correct.  It seems the powers-that-be are content with scheduling a bunch of non conference nobodies the first month of the season, which has two outcomes.  Poor preparation for the rigors of the SEC; and unrealistic fan base expectations.   A 7-win regular  season and a rinky-dink bowl will be the norm. 

Not going to schedule my time around anymore UK football games for this season.  I'm out!
