I know Trinity had a kid transfer to South Oldham, not sure how much of an impact player he is, but he's in Crestwood now.

This Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th, there will be a 24 team varsity tournament held between Collins High School and Shelby County High School. This has become the biggest annual tournament in the state. For the first time this year, there will be JV play in the morning on both days as well, with a JV tournament on Saturday. Any names floating around? I heard at one point they were going to reach out to a young assistant from another 8th region team.

Three coaches in two years. Sounds like they need a young, hungry, coach from the area to get them to stay more than a year.

Oldham wins and advances to the Final Four

I wonder if they'll be able to attract a big name coach or a young up and coming assistant from elsewhere will take over.

I know Gibson brings alot to the table offensively, but I really think Oldham's defense is not as strong with him in the lineup. They're long at every position with him not on the floor. Their half court 2-2-1 loses some trap ability at the front when he is in the game.

30th District becomes even more loaded.

Collins only playing up to potential once very few games so far this year.

How did Chandler Stewart play? He played for LCA last season, now suits up for Corbin.

Collins will be ok, just now getting football guys back. Eades, a four year varsity player still out. Kidwell not in good shape yet. Playing with pretty much 6 guys right now, only 3 of which have significant varsity experience. I suspect Gaither and his staff will have their team get better and better throughout the season, just like every year.

Why are these two rivals playing the first game of the year?! Seems like it should be a couple weeks later.

They had a PG transfer there from Hebron Middle School that was really impressive as an 8th Grader. He played with one of their Varsity teams this summer.

I highly doubt they can pull off another established head coach again this year considering Jenkins graduated, betting an outside assistant gets this one.

I think they were earlier in the year before all the injuries. Not even close now.

I wasn't at the game last night, but I watched Collins last week. There seemed to be no rhythm or flow to their offense. Maybe Feltner can open things back up for them when he returns.
