16thBBall Fan Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 Nice win for Boyle against a good Oldham team.
LethalPG Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 No surprise a Coach Adams team bounces back after a tough loss. Nice win!
Cardsrule1972 Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 Did Oldham County's starting point guard play?
Randy Parker Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 I’ll have info in a little bit. Packing for Gatlinburg. How'd Baby J Do? Also, thanks for the invite.
Jack Lambert Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 Did Oldham County's starting point guard play? What number is he?
85_Rebel Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 Good fight from Boyle to get the win. So glad the Rebels didn't finish the regular season 0-3 heading into post season. The Rebels hopefully have learned the most valuable lesson in sports. You can be beat by anyone.....and you can beat anyone....on any given night! You gotta bring it every night!!
dognation2 Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 What number is he? KHSAA says #10. Jackson Gibson
Cardsrule1972 Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 Yes, Gibson. He's Oldham County's best player. He's been hurt. Just wondering if he was back yet.
khsaafanatic Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 I know Gibson brings alot to the table offensively, but I really think Oldham's defense is not as strong with him in the lineup. They're long at every position with him not on the floor. Their half court 2-2-1 loses some trap ability at the front when he is in the game.
PurplePride92 Posted February 16, 2018 Author Posted February 16, 2018 Great game by the Rebels last night. It was a good win against a good team and it was good to see the seniors win their last home game. Boyle County led the game the whole first half and in the third quarter Oldham County had as much as a 9 point lead. Oldham County shot over 70% in the first half but turnovers allowed Boyle County to maintain a lead throughout the first half. Baby J got into foul trouble early in the third quarter with 4 fouls and went to the bench and Will Bramel ended up on the bench as well with 4 fouls. The Rebels struggled some on offense but they still managed to chip away at the Oldham County lead as their shooting percentage came back down to earth. Boyle County took the lead for good in the 4th quarter and maintained that lead for the rest of the game. It was a strong game for the Rebels as they had a lead, lost it and then gained it back with a good mixture of the starters and bench players getting it done on both sides of the ball.
