Only players I saw on Scott's bench that were 6'2" were CJ Seay and the young man with the wicked afro. (Which I do like)

Heard Scott's scorekeeper say Ohmer had 41 points, I know he scored something like 12 of the first 20 points.

He's not 6'8". He's my nephew, I'm root for SK basketball Kelch last measured at 6'5". (According to his doctor, more reliable source than SK's measurement.)

Another Cov Cath soph. to look out for this year is AJ Mayer, decently size and one heck of an athlete!

The 37th has dominated the 10th region in just about every sport for the last few years.

Coach Trame led a baseball team last year who at the beginning of the season everyone thought they would be lucky to reach 10 wins, they managed to reach the Final Four. Coach Trame gets his players to buy in. Scott did not lose much from last years team, I fully expect them to make the trip to Lexington for a third year in a row.

Scott has one of the best hitters in the state in Andrew Trame. As well as THE BEST shortstop in the state in Jake Ohmer.

I thought he graduated! Haha. I saw the Castleman name on a TMC football roster last year.

I believe a short stint with the Braves, correct me if I am wrong please!

Josh Lueke now plays in the Mexican League. No longer affiliated with any Major League team.

AJ Mayer is a very nice player for the Covington Catholic Colonels.

As much as I hate to say it, Beez is not coming down here... Would love to see this happen, but I do not see him leaving the Covington area.

Expect a 3-Peat... I'm just going to leave it at that.

I'd say it's equivalent to American Silver. Had a nephew play for The Force who at the time played in the American Silver league and they also beat Hamilton All Stars 14-3.

Scott finally started to hit the crap out of the ball in the bottom of the 6th. I believe they had 3 doubles that inning and scored 6 runs. Sad to see my Royals season come to the end but I'm proud of the boys. They played hard all year! Good luck Eagles. Go win the Region!

The other day, while making a delivery to the school, I heard a few Mason County ball players saying some very negative things about the new coach, the program, and about how the school in general is going down hill quick. I also heard 2 or 3 of them mention something about wanting to transfer. Surely everything is alright, was hoping someone close to the program could fill us in on what's going on or maybe just clarify a few things up for us.

Spencer Hackworth I believe is his name. One hell of a ball player.

My mistake on the spelling. I did forget to mention, Evan Slone is one hell of a shortstop! He made a few really nice plays out there the other day.

T.C Eads and Lyons were great against the Scott Eagles in the game I got to catch the other night. But on the Scott side two players that got my attention that i never heard of was the relief pitcher Jake Tusateri (spelling?) and Zack Mann. Tusateri had great stuff on the mound if I remember correctly he only gave up 1 hit in 4 1/3 innings of work as well as striking out 8. He's a nice lefty with lots of movement on all his pitches. He also had a double to lead off the bottom of the 8th. Zack Mann seems like a great hitter. He was down 0-2 and managed to hit a nice ball up the middle to score the winning run for the Eagles. This was the first time I got to see either team, though I have heard a lot of great things from both teams. These 4 players definitely were players i haven't heard really anything about and they stole the show. BTW if you haven't had the chance to see a game at Scott I highly recommend you do, the announcer was absolutely hilarious from his side comments to the great sound effects and music!

As we near the end of the 2015 baseball season, who are some players in your opinion who really flew under the radar? Which players started to make a name for themselves? Looking to hear about players who were not really talked about in preseason threads, more looking for players who came into the season unknown by most but stepped it up.

The other day I came across some articles, saw he broke Scott High's scoring record twice this year. Also saw he joined the thousand point club after only 2 years of varsity experience. Which IMO is very impressive. Being from Maysville I only saw him a few times in the Region Tourney. Can anyone fill me in on who he is hearing from if anyone? Also would like to know who he plays AAU for?
