POY has a lot of strong choices. So much so that it really is a "flavor" type thing. You could justify about 3 or 4 players for the #1 slot.

Sterling Hamilton is the junior from Lloyd. Post player that really came on as the season progressed. Nice player.

 

I know it's not known if he's eligible or not but no way Marcus Mullins isn't a top 10 player in NKY.

No, out the entire year for his knee. For the record, Hawkins is the PG and this is Fries 2nd yr starting. He played started JV his Sophomore year.

We don't see many lights out 6'6 shooters.

You could make the list of best player for each team in the 9th as this list is about to morph. Everyone is beginning to rep their school. some of the list above is the best player, then best scorer, then best shooter. Analyzing the above, very few, do it all.

Last time I seen Hawkins play he was as a Freshman playing really good in JV games then he injured his knee his Sophomore year. He is very tall and shoots really good. I think he will play more shooting guard than point guard. SK Cottrell and some others to help out at the guard spot. Fries got alot of varsity minutes as a Sophomore and some starts. He had a great Jr. year also. It will be a interesting season for SK.

SK won't have their entire roster until probably the 2nd week of December.

I know CovCath, Cooper and SK have been working hard at ASAP conditioning before the season starts.
