The other day, while making a delivery to the school, I heard a few Mason County ball players saying some very negative things about the new coach, the program, and about how the school in general is going down hill quick. I also heard 2 or 3 of them mention something about wanting to transfer. Surely everything is alright, was hoping someone close to the program could fill us in on what's going on or maybe just clarify a few things up for us.

Are they still under state investigation?

Old news. Almost ancient. State's initial report was issued in October 2012, but the former super hasn't been tried yet. That will happen one of these days.

No but in the administration as a whole there are still issues. Mass teacher reductions this year because there is no money. State is still "watching over" them. Mess Mess Mess.

Actually Mason Co schools started the "Drama" as you call it. Not me or anyone else. Things have done down hill quickly in the school system, teachers have left, great coaches have left, money went missing, it all leads to what the initial poster posted.

There may be cuts. Budget constraints, but there is very little "drama" everyone knows things are tough, it's the way of the world.

 

If kids are threatening to leave, I haven't heard but one rumor, and there's no chance of it. Athletically, the whole school is in a slump, but things will be back to normal before long. This is way overblown by people who don't know.

I could be be mistaken but I think the poster was referring to post #1 and not anything you stated about the Mason County finances.
