You can hear lots of things by just being in a school if you have your ears open. Most adults dont think about the fact that what they say out loud, is heard, not just by the direct people they are talking to, but anyone that is around, and has their ears open.

There may be cuts. Budget constraints, but there is very little "drama" everyone knows things are tough, it's the way of the world.

 

If kids are threatening to leave, I haven't heard but one rumor, and there's no chance of it. Athletically, the whole school is in a slump, but things will be back to normal before long. This is way overblown by people who don't know.

Don't say there's no chance of kids leaving. It happens every year at almost all schools. Kids transfer in, kids transfer out. I'm not saying there's a high chance that these rumors are true, but there's definitely higher than a zero percent chance they are.

I took it more as kids complaining about their coach and their opinion that their program is going downhill and that they may transfer. Those kids don't care about the school's money.

No but the schools money is tied to the teachers they have had to let go (include coaches as well, considering most of Mason County's coaches are required to be teachers) which in turn leads to kids complaining about coaches/teachers, which leads to kids transferring. Its all tied together in some manor.

Not confirming, denying or endorsing, but I can tell you that a lot of information gets "passed" through various delivery services if you know the driver and they are hitting local spots. Must be what the Pony Express was like back in the day.

 

For the record, I have found much more credible information with UPS than FedEx...you know, that LB guy and all...
