  1. Who threw for Boone?
  2. I was told to be nice on here and this is as nice as I can be about certain people's comments. I can't stand people that throw out something good and then turn around and throw in the almighty "BUT". Give me a break! The name of the game is WIN or LOSE, no grey matter.
  3. I know Dunn from Cooper is high on their list also. I know Dunn's dad told me they said they were only looking at 4 kids for the 2014 graduates.
  4. I said over ranked and meant overlooked.
  5. Big win for the Rebels!!! That was done without Ganns on the mound, even bigger win!!!
  6. This was less than a week ago. They were overlooked???? I don't look at 7th being over ranked. 1. Conner ( 2 ) 47 2. Covington Catholic ( 2 ) 42 3. Newport Catholic 30 4. Cooper 28 5. Highlands 25 6. Beechwood 21 7. Ryle ( 1 ) 20 8. Campbell County 16 8. Holy Cross 16 10. Brossart 9 Others: Boone County 7, St. Henry 7, Scott 4, Dixie Heights 1, Holmes 1, Simon Kenton 1
  7. A win is a win no matter who your playing. BTW....Hello TBC:cool:
  8. I think it's still a little early, for me at least, to really say. I would say in a couple weeks I could come up with some names. Not a bad question though, just seems early.
  9. Looks like a couple of my Top 10 Pitchers picks struggled a little this week. Hopefully the team will start stroking to give him some help. The Crusaders are a solid team. Verst along with the rest of my picks will be just fine though. If they have to do it themselves they are very capable.
  10. Beechwood has been on a roll but not surprised to see Kuebbing, one of the better pitchers in the area, put a stop to the Beechwood roll.
  11. Touche’....TOG! I will try to do better on the reporting. I will man up and say I missed that one. In this case my reporting is not incorrect. No adult beverages were consumed before this game and totally stick to what I had to say about this game.
  12. You can put in all the line scores you want and work with kids all you want. What does your statement have anything to do with having the proper information posted. If your going to post it then at least get the correct information. Come on TOG....here you go again:ohbrother:
  13. Wow....there FIFE....Where and when did anyone every post that he threw 90+?
  14. I bet alot of kids would want you for a score keeper if that's what you thought were earned runs. I was watching from the hill through the first 4 and Dunn gave up 2 or 3 max earned runs. I saw 2 errors that led to that big inning which would have had them out of the inning before the big inning happend. HC deserved to win the game with that kind of play, but to tag Dunn with 7 ridiculous.
  15. I know I questioned it in this thread, but I would guess by the description of the Beechwood pitcher, it would probably be Shumann. Don't throw real hard, but really has some good off speed stuff.
  16. Wonderbread.......I guess I'm wondering where anyone was saying they would be bad. Of course people will question freshmen, they do all the time. They have to prove themselves just like anyone else. I will still question freshmen until I see them have to face other teams 1 or 2's. That's not ever saying they were bad. Very good team, don't ruin it for them.
  17. Who threw for each team?
  18. WOW......Whoever puts this together needs to pay more attention to what is going on. Actually, just toss this in the fireplace because that's all this is good for. ABOSOLUTE JOKE!!!
  19. The district is tough without a doubt, but I'm giving Conner and Cooper the nod to get to the Regionals. Conner can flat hit the ball and I think the only pitching staff that can stop them would be Cooper's. No disrescpect to Ryle or Boone they do have Hoard and Ganns, but the rest are unproven at this time. Hoard is really the only legitimate returning starter for Ryle and Ganns from Boone. Cooper has 3 legitimate starters returning. I think offensively Ryle and Cooper are about the same. Baumann flat strokes it just like Collins can for Cooper. JMO!
  20. This was the final from Cooper from what I hear! No details, wasn't at the game.
  21. Congrats to Verst, Norton and the Stangs!!!
  22. :ohbrother::ohbrother::ohbrother: Keep smacking yourself in the head. Your comment is really has no barring to what I even said, so why make it.
  23. Looks to be the same, but they don't have the hitters they had last year so that could even change more. So that's why I say "Way". Brossart made critical errors on the pads or that game could have been a different game. Brossart will be solid, but they aren't what they were last year.
