Tony LaCorte pitches the complete game for St.Henry. #24 pitches for Brossart and pitches into the 5th where he gives up a lead off double, then a right hand side-arm thrower relieves him in the 5th. A lefty pitches the 6th for Brossart.

Ouch!!! #24 would be Nate Verst our ace. The side-armer would be Connor Verst a junior, and the lefty was probably Matteo Morrison.

Again our bats fail us as we fail to put runs on the board. Congrats to Mr. LaCorte in pitching the shutout.

Looks like a couple of my Top 10 Pitchers picks struggled a little this week. Hopefully the team will start stroking to give him some help. The Crusaders are a solid team. Verst along with the rest of my picks will be just fine though. If they have to do it themselves they are very capable.

LaCorte threw a very efficient 74 pitches giving up only 3 hits for the shutout with solid defense lead by Rogers and Rose supporting his efforts. Keubbing made an outstanding catch in right to record the first out of the seventh inning. Markgraf had a great day behind the plate also, his strong arm and quick trigger release has become very effective at controlling base runners.

Overall a very solid performance from the Crusaders.
