Mitch r....I would have to agree with PBR and Mr. Fuller statement 100%. NCSA Sports has a very nice set-up and have all kinds of coaches that are signed up with them as well.

What does that really matter. All the breakdowns on the kids they provide isn't on here, which that is what you really pay for. It's just where "they" have them ranked. More pub for their company that people might not have known about. Don't forget this is a pay site also.

I just noticed the opening sentence and I would not say it would have been made up, but maybe misinformed. Interesting article, but never notice an effective date. Is this supposed to be effective this upcoming year. Also, I will not come on here and make things up either. Looks like some things have changed since the summer during the recruiting discussions if this is the case.

That is an interesting piece Clyde. When did this take place? You have me curious with this, since I sat across from a college coach that read off to me his percentages to players. Didn't give names obviously, but there were quite a few kids sitting at the 20% mark.

If that is the case, I know quite a few players that are sitting at the 20% mark playing D1. It would be nice from the baseball perspective to allot more than the 11.7 so they could get that percentage up.

11.7 is the maximum a D1 baseball team is allowed to have. They are usually going to have 30+ players on the roster with some of them being walk-ons. I would say Pitchers get the largest percentage and the rest are split up from there. I can tell you that the 25% is not the minimum you can receive. Not sure were Clyde got that number.

If you speak to NCSA Sports Recruiting company, they will actually say if you were to get 20% for D1 athletics you are doing very well. Anything above that, they say you are doing extremely well.

It is Todd Ramey. He was solid with the bat for the Chiefs and on top of that a very nice kid. Needs to work on other aspects of his game to become a 5 tool player. I will put him up against practically anyone from the hitting perspective without a doubt.

I would take those predictions all day long. Get Cooper in its first regional with a new coach!!!

Beechwood and Ryle would be my top 2 picks. They have a little distance from the pack IMO. Any of the Top Pitchers could knock them off though, if they are on their game. Haj and Clyde.....I can tell you for sure that the velocity is where my buddy Jimmy said it was. It wasn't all the time but it's there. Bottom line is still having to pitch, so it doesn't matter until he steps on the field and proves all his pitches. 3G....I can tell you that I was at the same game and "I" was the one with the gun. Very good pitcher but he was topping 83mph with a nasty change. I saw that someone mentioned Ramey. The Ramey kid is a legit hitter w/power.

I know that in the summer he had a game he was that he was being clocked and he was hitting 90-91. I know this wasn't the whole game but that's dialing it up. His dad came to me the following week pretty excited about it. I do know a game against SK at Freedom, Cooper was clocking him in the 1st inning and 7th and he was 87-88 from the beginning of the game to the end. He's seems to have the stamina. I don't know if he would hit those numbers all time, but seems to be in the ballpark pretty frequently from what info I have and what you just said. I hope things work out for him. He is a great kid. He's been in here before and comes across as being very polite. I wish him the best and really want to see him have a great year and come out of his shell as an overall player.

I work with his dad and I confirmed this morning that he was clocked as high as 93MPH. He is training at a place called Champions. He has been training up there with some guy named Mike. I guess we could call and see. I don't think he would lie.

Beechwood, Dixie, Highlands and Ryle look to be the top teams returning from last year. I would have to say one of the dark horses would be Cooper. They are returning there pitching staff and I think they are a very underated hitting team if they are cut loose a little. I did hear that one of their main starters might not be playing, but they do have some young arms to make up for that. If what I hear is true, in which I feel it is, Dunn just needs to go up and challenge batters. I know he's been going through a program over in Cincinnati and his fastball was clocking 93mph with movement. He's a quiet kid but needs to step up for his team this year. I think he has sat back in the shadows over the years and let the upper classman do their thing. Not saying he didn't play hard! JMO!

I would say they are so rare that it probably only happens once every century. I think my 11.7 is the number that I've seen. I have heard that Mr. Ross is also an extremely smart individual. That would be something that would help tremendously towards his scholarship.

I'm almost positive it's 11.7 scholarships and they are divided up amongst the roster. You need athletic and academic monies to get a so called free ride.

Haven't been on here for a while and realized this wasn't mentioned. This was done a few weeks ago and wanted to get it out there. Hunter Dunn gave his verbal commitment to Eastern Kentucky University.
