  1. I won't debate the middle school/freshman/Jv level scores anymore, I believe it is just a difference of opinions. I find it hard to see how and why people would want a change of coaches only two games in (against a top 5 team in the state overall and an arch rival) and after the success Coach Lewis has had at John Hardin since he has become the head coach. People have come on here and bashed him for not playing a tough schedule and saying it cost them in the playoffs. Now he is playing a tough schedule and you think a change should be made. I mean this guy can't win at all in either situation. At the end of the year maybe this talk could take place. But I think 2 years ago the same talk was happening and then they reeled off wins til semi-state and almost went to state finals but lost to Graves County.
  2. Ground attack-- thank you for responding to that.
  3. Really you want to put scores of JV and 9th grade games to show why you should win on Fridays? I say you go back and get the middle school scores too
  4. It's absurd to call for a coach's job 2 games into the season. I find it interesting that not to long ago-- Hardin County Preps- was talking about the coaching at North Hardin. Coach Lewis and his staff have played a tough schedule over the last 2-3 years because previously they were knocked for not playing a tough schedule. Now that they are playing one, you think he should lose his job? I have read that it's just the Bankhead show for North- is that a bad thing? Penalties- can make the difference in a tough game and the ones called on John did hurt them on key plays. I find it funny at times that people call for a coach's job for a coach that has consistently won since its beginning. Success in the playoffs- I think Coach Lewis has a pretty good record
  5. Was he ruled ineligible at Cordia?? News to me. I heard that isn't the case
  6. I think Mercer gets a better start than they did next year
  7. Trace Young is a good one too.. Especially since he will be on same team as Jackson at North
  8. I have heard the talent is there. They just need to see who can take some of the load from the departed Holbrook. I know one of the rbs is back, maybe Smith?? I would expect Spencer to be very good
  9. Compete against Other teams to get a different look??
  10. Jefferson Davis from Alabama?? No disrespect to them.. But I think in a game that Bowling Green could win and maybe by 2-3 tds. They aren't a powerhouse at all
  11. Chester Ford Danville-- this young man dominated the game.
  12. It's legal. And has been used for a couple years for at some high schools
  13. Any names that coaches feel are looking good and where these kids go to school??
  14. If qb can't throw it to him, then he will be covered
  15. I think that both basketball and football will have solid years.. Two quality coaches continue to make an impact on their programs.
  16. Wow!!! That's a big late move for a quality returning team. I am not surprised by this at all.
  17. Don't think it's finished yet. As jobs get filled others may open
  18. Well who will get the job? Did Nelson have spring football?
  19. Hoss-- no doubt. It was something I heard when some of the players were talking. I did consider the source and don't truly believe he would leave John
  20. Word that I have heard is he is coming back but not to John Hardin. He is going to North to team up with Tony Jackson for basketball. He may or may not play football this year anyway but he will be on the court with Tony Jackson at North Hardin
  21. The reason they can do it in the south in states such as Alabama and Georgia, their baseball season ends a lot earlier. In Alabama, their baseball season is in the playoffs at this time. And while people talk about multi- sport players-- football is the MAIN sport in those states and we know in Kentucky it's not
  22. Do you mean because of the late hire of Coach B is why they weren't prepared?
  23. They will be tested in game one versus Central Hardin and they have an athlete in Darius Barbour
