Gentlemen, let's not get to excited about Grant Co. winning the Region. Nice job on regular season wins, but as mentioned before very soft schedule. They have some nice players, but when Collins, Anderson, or any of the Oldhams press you...Your in trouble...Your ball handling is mediocre at best. On another note: Agree with Mack about Gallatins schedule..Very Tough! Unfortunately, Morgan is all they have this season...

I'm referring to postseason. Regular season out of district wins really don't mean much, other than your record looks good.....

Must suck being a 5A school and getting waxed every year by 1A schools.......Maybe Simon or South Oldham should look into hiring Jones or Duvall.....

I'm sure Gallatin or Owen will take both of them out along the way. Hey Steiner remember you had a 19 point lead going into the 4th quarter last year and LOST the game! Ouch....

Neither of these teams will win the region. It's not due to a lack of talent. Simpson and Steiner haven't been able to win "Big" games! Even in the past when they've had teams good enough to win the region, they've failed miserably!

Jones did very nice job getting the Cats ready for this one...

Regardless who Collins added Oldham is still the favorite in the Region. They have good guard play, good bigs, and most importantly they have Great team chemistry! Their players deed off one another and you can see that developing on the floor as their games progress. IMO their toughest post season game will be NO in the 1st round of the district. As far as the other teams in the region, Collins is the only other team that matches up well against Oldham. That being said, I think Collins lacks leadership and chemistry. SK has been playing very well, but they don't match up well against either of these two teams. However, they still have to play the game, and anyone can lose on any given night.

Don't worry Bearcats, you still have the girls program to cheer for.....

I would include Gallatin's Travis Davis. Kid has sick ballhandling skills and changes speed as good as anyone in NKY.

The Economy is bad and this is an easy gig!

Davis, Morgan, Z. Brown, and Ingram all played well for Gallatin. Carroll is going to have long season!

This team is a mess! Trame inherited Kinmon, the transfer from Calvary, and allowed Cottrell to be a starter after signing up for basketball at the last minute! I don't think this team will ever get it right. WV will have a mediocre season at best! Maybe next year Bearcats!

I thought Owen did a nice job playing half court defense against the Cats. Gallatin could not get anything going in their half court game. Ripy and Taylor had very good game, and they did a nice job controlling the pace of game in second half.

Regardless, if you don't have anything going on tomorrow night, you don't want to miss this one!
