Sounds like a great game. Congrats to Owen.

I found this in a thread that was closed for improper use of abbreviation in the title. This was originally posted by True Blue (and Gold). I would like to see a box score also if anyone has one.- "This one was a true battle. There were 23 lead changes/ties. Owen Co's scoring was balanced, though I'll say Carson Williams stepped it up big time in the 4th and in OT. Davis and Morgan led the Wildcat's in scoring. Davis fouled out right at the end of regulation and I think that is what sealed the deal for OC."

Nice tight game. Both teams played very hard and was close thru out. Gallatin had a chance to put it away late. Up 2 and had the ball, Davis gets fouled with 40? sec to go and in the 1 and 1. Misses the foul shot. He then fouls out. Owen ties the game. Gallatin has the ball with plenty of time at end of regulation and doesn't get a good shot (that almost goes in for the win). In overtime, Owen goes up by 6. Gallatin gets it back to 2 and has the ball with 6 sec to go full court and gets a baseline shot blocked at the buzzer.

Gallatin's press either did real good, or gave up the easy bucket too many times. Carson Wiliams hit some big shots/foul shots down the wire. Quite the 8th grader.

Congrats to Owen on the win. Tough loss for Gallatin.

Ma thats the bad thing about the all A being in tremble county this year, by the time I get off work I could never make the games. I would of loved to see this game sounds great.

This game should have been the the finals not the opening round. Congrats to both teams for a good game. Good luck the rest of the way for Owen Co.

Based on Walton-Verona's play last night, they might disagree.

Yeah they are sticklers about those thread titles. Kinda like ordering soup from the Soup Natzi. Better get it right or no thread for you!:scared:

The last time I remember Owen beating Gallatin in the all a was 8 years ago at Trimble. It was very similar, Owen missed and got a put back to win by 1 at the buzzer.
