Final...

Nice win for the Neers. It's great to see they are playing a few of the predicted top teams in the 8th during the regular season. Any details?

Congrats to the Pioneers! They are my pick to win the 8th.

Great game! Sampson 32 for sk

..Hasley 34 for South. South had couple players out injured & flu. These 2 teams both have a chance @ the 8th region title.

South is my pick to represent 8th @ Rupp.

Who didn't play for the Dragons?

Michael haysley & Griffin.

What a crazy game. I don't think the refs had ever worked together before tonight.

South Oldham had 3 players out. 1 starter - Michael Haysley(twin brother to Matthew Haysley) with a back injury and should be back next week. 2 key reserves with the flu and did not make the trip. Michael Griffin (back up to Matthew) and back up point guard Jonathan Blair. Both teams played extremely hard. Would love to see these two teams play in the 8th Region Championship game at HCHS.

I'm over the players being out argument.

I was really impressed with #12 for South. It didn't feel like he ever came out and you could tell he was exhausted but kept at it all night.

Neither of these teams will win the region. It's not due to a lack of talent. Simpson and Steiner haven't been able to win "Big" games! Even in the past when they've had teams good enough to win the region, they've failed miserably!

There's a first time for everything!

That is what I am hoping for.

#12 was recovering from the flu. Had it all week

There's a first time for everything!

I'm sure Gallatin or Owen will take both of them out along the way. Hey Steiner remember you had a 19 point lead going into the 4th quarter last year and LOST the game! Ouch....

No, he probably forgot about that...

Get a grip dude. SK has been co-favorite in the 8th once and didn't get it done. The hatred the 8th region has for SK is comical and pretty petty.
