Final from Owenton.

Gallatin secures the #1 seed in the 31st District.

How sweet it is

Kristian Morgan leads his team with 26 points and 9 rebounds. Tyler Herndon with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Unofficially.

Good to see that Morgan had a good night. Congrats to the Wildcats on a nice win.

Gallatin led 21-20 at half and 43-30 after 3 quarters. Their largest lead was 56-37 wirh just over 2 minutes to play.

Jones did very nice job getting the Cats ready for this one...

Quite the turnaround from the last time they met at Gallatin co. Somewhere around a 40pt swing.

Be interesting to see what happens next week in the all A between the two. I plan on taking this one in.

Who can predict the 8th Region this year... It is wide open!

How good is Carson Williams for Owen? Have been told by several people that I need to get out and see this kid. Want to make sure the hype is legit before I make a 45 minute drive to Owen Co or go to the SK-OC game.

Williams is solid. Doesn't play outside himself. Plays very intelligent to just be a freshman. He also has quick ups and rarely gets his shot blocked. A lot of potential with him.

Owen and Gallatin play at Wiliamstown this Tuesday in the first round of the 31st district all A. You should come and watch, Walter. Will be a good one if it is like their recent matchup.

I heard Butler was looking at Williams

Futures 150 has him in top 50 frosh right now. Extremely athletic, great hops, doesn't play hard every possession & needs to continue to develop jump shot. Tremendous on off boards & running floor.

.where he gets most of his pts.

Raw but crazy potential...worth the drive.

Has he played against Michael Dunaway at Trimble County yet? If so how did that go. I notice he is putting up impressive numbers there, also.
