I didn't realize the KHSAA could hand out fines as punishment. Anyone have some knowledge on such things?

I believe they recently sent out an e-mail informing coaches of the fines if players leave the bench during an altercation. Im thinking its like $1,000. I also thought coaches were fined if they were ejected from a game.

No, I was told that Rhodes was personally fined $1,000 and received a 2-game suspension. That's why I'm asking because I hadn't heard of anything like this before.

What happened?

I think Lexington Christian received a fine when they had the problem giving out scholarships 3 or 4 years ago. I can't recall if the coach was fined or the school or both.

I believe it is now a 3 game suspension and $150 fine to be reinstated.

Yes, Joe Kielman told me it is now a 3-game suspension when they're ejected. I'm not sure about the amount of the fine.
