Congratulations to Brossart. I heard their size and depth was just too much for the others in the 10th region. They could make a nice run down state, but I like Holy Cross to win it all.

Brossart has one of the biggest teams in the 10th. Jennings is 6'9 and they have 3 move big men that are a legit 6'5". Not to mention Saunders plays bigger than he is. I dont think any game plan can prepare you for the undersized Monroe.

Henry Drees was the other ref I believe.

I've said this since seeing him play last year at the Holy Cross frosh tourney. I heard he also had 25 points in 3 quarters of the JV game. They said he single handedly took over the JV game in the second quarter and had 18 of their 21 first half points. The Brossart JV team has only lost one game this year and as frosh only lost one game last year. They have a couple of exciting guards and a few big men. They will give fits to teams over the next couple of years. Nice win for Holy Cross last night. Sounds like Brossart gave them a run for their money. I still think HC is the team to beat in the 9th!

I was close on my prediction too. CC by 20 and they would have 10 socrers in the books. They won by 29 and had 11 score. Beechwood needed to move up to DII.

The Beechies can not handle the Colonels this year. Cov Cath by 20. Cov Cath will have 10 kids in the scorebooks.

BB is going to be a solid team the next few years and could make a few trips to Rupp. I was really impressed with their Freshman team last year. Saw them play last year. Very impressive. I've seen several kids names in the paper with varsity stats already.

Keep in mind NKU is going D1.

After seeing the Campbell kid play, I think he may be the best big man to come out of the 9th in years. He is still a little unpolished, but has a great upside for a legit D1 team.

This is one of my favorite tournaments to watch. Always good to see what is in the pipeline for the local schools. I just love watching games at Holy Cross. Yea I know it gets hot, but it is a great atmosphere for hoops.
