Final from the Gateway Holiday Classic.

Camels play much better today but still come up short. I heard that Nate McGovney led the Camels with 33 and Corey Holbrook had 17. Still need to find more balanced scoring. They now play Owen County in the consolation bracket tomorrow.

Some additional scoring would help a great deal. Good job Nate and Corey.

50 of 58 points? Glad to see Nate have a better game. Agreed help is needed on the offensive side.

Zach Moran had 20 points and 14 rebounds to lead Male to a 67-58 victory over Campbell County in the Gateway Holiday Classic. Nate McGovney had 33 points for Campbell County.

Sounds like he is a very solid player. Only a junior correct? How big is he? I have to admit I have not seen him play yet but am looking forward to it.

I'd guess Nate to be 6'2 or maybe 6'3.

I think his dad told me he is 6'2...

Great, thanks Clyde. Would love to see a local product like him go to NKU. I sure hope they are looking at him if he is that good.

Keep in mind NKU is going D1.

Zach Moran is having a huge season for Male. May be the leading scorer in the Louisville area.

Yes I agree. That was my only concern since I haven't really seen him play yet. But any time a local talent goes to a local college it is nice to be able to follow them and go watch them play.
