This could be a GREAT game. It has been mentioned already, but if Cov Cath comes out with the right game plan, they do have the team that CAN beat Highlands. Not saying will, I'm saying can. They need to run to set up the pass, not the other way around. They need to pass when the opportunity presents itself, not for the sake of staying "balanced". Control the clock. AND the D needs to step up. AND Special Teams need to contribute AND......

Not disrespecting Scott, but I don't see anything close to an impressive win this year. I hope the youngsters make the program better, but knocking off Newport and Brossart as a large school are not "statement" wins. Good Luck to the Eagles.

The score could have been much worse. Cov Cath left 2 scores on the field in the first half. Turnovers inside the 10 yard-line. They can't afford to do that against the better 4A teams starting next week..... Connor has some of the best looking uniforms I have seen recently....

the head leads & the body follows, there is going to be some contact. However, if he is being taught this way, it is a shame. the offensive lineman that he is playing against should be having a great game...

Rumor is that in an effort to "please" all entrants, the boone=ryle winner will be 6A champs, while the winner of CCH & HHS will be the 4A champ....

Goose is a great kid and deserves any opportunity that he gets. I would say he outworks most, if not everyone in NKY. Wherever he ends up, he will earn playing time.

Should be very good game. I'm thinking Dixie has a little momentum right now. Game is @ Dixie.

Congrats to CC!! What a odd year in NKY 6A. Several teams with very high expectations (Ryle / Dixe / even SK) and things don't go as planned, (T. E. injury @ Ryle among other things). CC had been written off after a couple of early losses... Obviously great coaching and team chemistry. Still a long road for the NKY 6A schools to make noise in the playoffs. Keep it rolling.....

It's been a long season at Dixie. I know expectations were much higher for the season. They looked pretty solid last night @ SK. Of course, SK is experiencing the same type year.....

Should be a good match-up. From what I have seen since the scrimmage, I think CCH has a few more options and a little more balance. I pick the Colonels in a close game.

Went to the game. Moe should have won by 3 scores. X scored on a "fumble" return that should have been blown dead. The ball came out after the ball carrier was down, which would have given the Crusaders a 1st down. Both schools played with a lot of heart & class. No disrespect intended, but NKY schools should go watch one of these bigger GCL games to really see what Friday nights are all about.

Without a torrential downpour, the rain does not affect this game at all. CCH will need a perfect game & the birds will need to make some mistakes. Strange things happen when rivals play....

Go BEARCATS..... Hopefully, the extra week to prepare helps. I don't think the WV-Bellevue game is any indication of the team WV is. This could be their coming out party in the new district.....

Great match-up. If CCH plays mistake free, they should win. I would like to see them be physical & use that big Oline to run over some folks. Use the clock & wear BW down. That is what they will have to do to compete with Highlands, this would be a good time to brush up on that philosophy. Vocke has great speed and as the saying goes, speed kills. Don't give him the opportunity.
