Any word on whether the NKY frosh teams will be scheduling week 10 games, since there will not be a frosh large school title game this year?

As reported by C-Boys78, CovCath will be playing HHS next Thursday @ HHS starting at 6pm.

As reported by Jack of All Trades on the same thread, Boone County will be playing Dixie. Date and time were not mentioned.

Next weeks games are as follows:

 

Campbell Co. vs Simon Kenton

Cooper vs. Conner

HHS vs Cov. Cath.

Boone Co. vs Dixie, but Dixie said no and decided to hang it up for the season so now it's Ryle vs. Boone Co.

Thanks everyone. I'm glad the frosh get to play an extra game this year. Also, was the five-way tie between Boone County, Highlands, Dixie Heights, Covington Catholic and Ryle?

 

Also, HHS and CCH sure are playing each other a lot this year (not that it's bad). It seems that both the frosh and JV teams will have played each other twice this year, and it's a strong possibility that CCH and HHS will meet for a second time at the varsity level.

Just curious: will the five teams tied for first all be considered co-champions this year?

Info posted by TigerBird is correct. Dixie frosh coaches and the team decided not to play a game in week 10. They had a very small roster and those kids that want to continue for the season will be asked to join the JV/Varsity and continue for the rest of the year.

I wish that this was the case. The parents were notified this morning that the season was over and scheduled an equipment turn in day. I don't know who voted/ decided to not play Boone but it wasn't the players. As for finishing the season with jv/ varsity roster, that wasn't an option either.

With the week 10 developments it looks like we will be able to crown a champ.

 

If Highlands beats CCH then the winner of Boone/Ryle should be the champ because both teams beat Highlands. If CCH wins then they are the champs because they beat both Boone and Ryle.

 

With Dixie stepping out I think that eliminates them and can anyone give us the definite answer out of Dixie? Are the kids playing up or were they sent home?
