  1. Point 2- language a little salty [video=youtube;Z-qV9wVGb38]
  2. Point 1- I never tip the kids that pack my carryout bag as they generally botch my order 2 out of 3 times.
  3. Where to start? Miracle on 34th Street Quiet Man Parent Trap One of the last of Old Hollywood
  4. Had breakfast there a few times in last few months. It's ok. Still prefer the old greasy spoons on Monmouth.
  5. It's not paying off the whole debt. It's the more interest obligations you have as part of your overall budget the less you have to commit to spending on actual programs. Some programs will need to be reduced. If you don't reduce spending, you either expect revenues will make up any shortfall or you raise taxes. The problem is that while interest rates right now are historically low, they will rise and our debt obligations will become a bigger part of our overall budget. Who wants that?
  6. Let's start with the fact the Dems have been in charge the last 8 years. Let's continue with Obamas liberal use of executive orders. Going on, every regulation put in place backfires because it's only big business that can afford to keep up with the cost of regulation and compliance putting the little guy out of business. But it's the republicans fault. Now, we're going to create new entitlement programs. Where are we going to get the money? We are already trillions in debt but their solution is spend more, tax more. This is the Enron theory. Keep doubling down until you get you money back. This flawed and will fail. Why? Because history and basic economic theory tells us it will. But go ahead. Continue on.
  7. Geez, it's become real easy for the Democrats abandon Israel?
  8. False. The only reason you hear about the emails is it makes good press. They are conducting the investigation in private, very few leaks coming out. It is bi-partisan. Mainly interviewing folks about, surprise, Benghazi, not her server or emails. The emails and server are an ancillary piece to getting to the bottom of what happened.
  9. Tried to get into Otto's last nite but was booked solid. Went across the street to The Main Bite. Pleasantly surprised. Pastrami artichoke dill dip with pretzels as an appetizer. Had the blackened tilapia fish tacos and missus had the pasta shrimp dish. Only misstep was dessert. Would go back.
  10. Russia is going broke. They need the dough or they need a smokescreen to hide the truth from their people, hence wars on middle east land masses.
  11. True but still an inept foreign policy team. I give you todays WSJ: Those who know the Obama White House’s inner workings wonder why this president, who came into office with next to no experience of foreign policy, has made so little effort to hire strategic expertise. Answer: Because he thinks he is always the smartest man in the room. He thinks giving speeches and words will change the world. Kumbaya.
  12. That's a myth perpetuated by the media. The core values of the Tea Party are fiscal responsibility, limited government and free markets. Who is not in favor of these items? Just call them a tea party-ite and brand them a crack pot. So wrong. John Boehner does not represent me. Each group has their fringe that calls themselves Republicans or Democrats. If any sane Democrat looked up what a Socialist is they'd be embarrassed to support Bernie. The value of equality means that nobody in society has any special benefits, regardless of their production and willingness to achieve results. Who is in favor of this? But they'll pull the lever regardless. Lemmings on both sides.
  13. you could make an argument for all but JJ, Los Lobos (except their crossover appeal), maybe Chaka Khan, first lady of 70's funk, except not enough of a catalog.
  14. Rumors are he dropped out for alleged indiscretions. Letter going around by NC rep who said to all, but everyone intimates it's McCarthy he is addressing, that no one should run if they have skeletons.
  15. The proposal would limit wholesale grow facilities to 10 specific sites owned and operated by the financial backers of the campaign, essentially creating an oligopoly — a market dominated by a small number of sellers. Again, the same people who rail on big business are "all in" on letting big business dominate this market. Congrats Lemmings. Read the fine print.
  16. Until Russell doesn't pass him the ball in crunch time.
  17. So congrats Cincinnati! 8 shootings last night and you were still able to get out and set a speed trap near the Brent Spence during rush hour. Nice recovery.I would have gotten off on Central Parkway but that traffic was slowed by an unused bike lane, cars parked in the middle lane and all the traffic was left to fight over one lane. Nice priorities.
  18. Myth or not, the law is the law. If she broke it, she should do time just like Petreaus, who she corresponded with on her email.
  19. If you're for limited government, limited regulatory involvement, lower taxes, limiting spending, balanced budgets, a strong military, anti-abortion, then I guess I am a nut. I can embrace that characterization. ....I reserve the right to call you a nut when you fail to embrace basic economic theory, support continued dficit spending, endorse a flawed international relations policy, have willingly enabled the Russians to resume their place as a villain in the international community, and continuously support HRC whose role in these international matters is greatly understated by the media that adores her.
  20. They are about the same. I don't see McCarthy being the long term SOTH.
  21. February 21st. What took you so long? Trouble connecting through Hilary's server?
