Small squad, not much interest yet from dual sport athletes. Junior program will only help.

Wrestling builds character, its foundations carry well into other sports, and in my experience, the youth wrestling coaches are excellent mentors.

Varsity and JV Football= 0 Freshman 3-4

Lacrosse= 3

Soccer= 0

WOW! Shame on those varsity football coaches not to recognize what wrestling could do for their program! Speak to any NFL or college football player and see how many of them wrestled in HS. When will football learn what a value this sport has in helping to make boys into men!

Cov Cath's wrestling program is in its infancy. I'm sure more football players will wind up wrestling over the years.

Yep. Small school sectional qualifiers are at Scott High school saturday@ 5pmish. Newport, Scott and Lex Catholic will be there.
