This hire always felt like a weird situation to me as well. Never felt like it was anything more than a show. Wolford never seemed enthusiastic about coaching their, just never seemed like a good fit.

Read about this in the courier this morning. He did a fantastic job at Butler. Understand why he is leaving. He will be missed in high school football in this area. Good luck in his goal of becoming an AD.

I agree with the coach Everage completely. Should be no more than a 5 class system. Top 2 or 3 teams advance ( not apposed to just the top 2 advancing) this makes the regular season matter. This would possibly help eliminate some of the early round blowouts. There is no reason why the season shouldn't be compete by thanksgiving, the way it used to be. Majority of fans in Kentucky have felt this way since the 6 class system came into effect.

Could be a good game, got to believe that Trinity's strength of schedule and overall team speed and talent will be the difference. They will not be caught looking ahead to a possible rematch with X.

I agree, top 2 or top 3 at best. It is crazy, kids do not want, nor do they deserve to be beaten this badly. Go back to a 4 class system, top 2 or 3 teams advance. This makes the regular season a little more meaningful, and making the playoffs something special.

I was Informed that Central used several non-senior varsity starters in this game on both sides of the ball. Comparing both teams schedules, and the large margin of victory in this game, it stands to reason.

This should be a really good game. Most are saying, these are by far, the 2 best freshman teams in Louisville. Taking the Rocks in close one 28-24.

Trinity has 2 Mr. Footballs. Jeff and Brian Brohm. Quicks numbers and the teams and talent on those teams he faces week after week makes him the best and logical choice. No dissrespect to the other candidates. Heck, Dawkins cam and should be in the running as well. When you put up the kind of numbers they are producing every week, its a no brainer. Imho.

Male freshman beat X 20-6. Male made great adjustments at halftime, and dominated the 2nd half. Makes the freshman game against Trinity nexted thursday very interesting.

All I know is that Highlands played Trinity earlier in the year and they are pretty good. The best team by far the Baby Birds have played is Beechwood. Beechwood would beat Trinity by 2tds imo... So is it safe to assume, that Beechwood beat the baby birds? I would love to see a Beechwood and Rocks freshman game!

Haven't seen everyone yet, but have seen Trinity and Male play. Both are impressive. Up to this weekend, both are unbeaten, and they play at Male in a couple weeks. Should be a good game.

The only area I think X has the advantage in is the kicking. Ts kicking game looked much better in Indy, not sure it is going to show up again on Friday night. Xs lack of a consistent passing game and their usual implosion in the 2nd half, is the difference. Also Ts difficult schedule to date, is big as well. T 35-17.
