TRINITY STUDENT-ATHLETE TO

SIGN NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT

 

Louisville, KY – Trinity High School senior DeMarcus Page will sign a national letter of intent to participate in collegiate athletics at a ceremony to be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Trinity High School.

 

DeMarcus Page (basketball) will sign with the Campbellsville University. As a junior, Page played in every game of Trinity’s inaugural state championship season, where he shot 78 percent from free throw line and 64 percent from the field. “DeMarcus is a high energy guy who has a big time competitive edge,” remarked Trinity Head Basketball Coach Mike Szabo. “He does everything in his power to help our team win. I know exactly what I am going to get from him in every game and for that matter in every practice as well – he is truly a joy to coach. I just respect how he plays; he plays all-out all the time!”

 

Campbellsville University finished 21-12 last season and reached the NAIA national tournament.

 

The signing ceremony will take place in Trinity’s Steinhauser Gymnasium, which is located at 4011 Shelbyville Road near the school’s marquee in St. Matthews. Members of the coaching staff and the signee’s parents will attend. Parking is available along Alumni Hall on Sherrin Avenue or in the adjacent lots.
