Congratulations to the Panthers for winning their 2nd District Championship in the last 3 years! This was a battle of two improved teams. Both groups played their hearts out last night. Good luck to the Panthers next week as they take the trip to Bell County and try to make history for their program. To Mason County, congratulations on your season. You have a ton of young athletes and are going to be a hand full the next few years!

They are very athletic on defense and solid but some of that probably has to do with their schedule. Most of the teams they have played are running teams.

Mason and Fleming are kind of in the middle of no where when it comes to area affiliation. The ADI has started including Fleming in their coverage area just recently. Most people don't consider Mason as Northern Ky but they are too far away to be Northeastern Ky. They are also out of the Central Ky area. Like you said, they are just kind of on an island.

Very hard fought game. Fleming scored on a punt return and pick six. Mason's Jones had a long Td in the 1st half and a punt return in the 2nd. That kid can fly! Mason scored as time expired to make it 29-19.
