Running Clock. SV had like 50 yards in the second half. Great job by the kids and coaches responding after down 12-0 and punting the 1st two offensive series then put up 50 unanswered. Comets building respect and I like it!

Interested in seeing West Carter next week. Looks to be a stiff challenge for Beechwood. They seem to have a very strong defense and according to stats, unreal against the pass. Are the stats on KHSAA correct? Says they have only allowed 476 passing yards all year and allowed 0 last night. That seems like it can’t be right. If they are that good against the pass, it will be an interesting game because Beechwood’s offense moves the ball better by the pass than the run for the most part.

They are very athletic on defense and solid but some of that probably has to do with their schedule. Most of the teams they have played are running teams.
