I know they tried to raise money to majorly improve the field surface and I think they actually put quite a bit of money into the field a couple years ago, it's just going to take time. I'm glad they finally cut the track out and gave the field proper corners, as opposed to the old AstroTurf that was down before.

Sounds like the game needs to be moved to Raceland, of course I'm a bit biased.

I thought the energy level for EC game was low. I saw a lot of walking on and off the field, walking to and from the huddle. They came out of the locaker room at halftime like they were taking a Sunday afternoon stroll through the park. I'm worried that all of the talk about this being one of the best teams and best offensive/defensive line in Raceland's history has already gone to their heads. Yes, they definitely need to find a more fluent and consistent offense. I think at times during the EC game that it took too long for the play to come in from the sideline. All this ranting is not good for my blood pressure. :rage:

It is was it is, but unlike the past, they aren't keeping it hush hush, the principal at Fairview is proud of the fact that he is bringing in family after family to see the facilities, and talk about the football program so that they can keep their coffers full, if that's not a slap in the face to the Westwood kids, then I don't know what is. Get on twitter and look up some of Fairview's players, one in particular likes to brag about how he "brung" some of his boys down here to Kentucky so that Fairview can use their talents. I'm sure this will ruffle some feathers or some fur.

I honestly believe this talk about being the best team in Raceland history is a bit premature. The talk of this being the toughest Raceland schedule ever is also premature. In my opinion, this team has to show alot more toughness, particularly on defense. We know they will win the games they are supposed to win, but can they win the close ones? Better yet, will the coaching staff have the game plan to win the close ones?

You know, Fairview may make it to the finals, the road there is considerably weaker than it has been in years past and if they do, I don't think they even stand a chance at beating Mayfield.

They tried to eclipse the 70's, but failed to score on their last drive.

What method is used to come up with the Litkenhous rankings? They have Raceland at #2 in Class A. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan and all, but come on man. That's just STUPID!!!

Do you really have any room to question the quality of opponents another team is playing? I can guarantee that Fairview wouldn't be undefeated if they played a schedule like Hazard or LCA.
