I think Raceland can beat Williamsburg, but it's gonna take an all hands on deck kind of effort. The coaching staff has had the right plan in place to win every game they've played this year. I think the defense is better this year, Young is an upgrade at QB, the backs and receivers are a push and the line play on both sides of the ball is equal, if not better than what they put on the field last year, but the players have to play four quarters of football. If Raceland loses focus, Williamsburg will put a running clock on them in no time.

I questioned the coaching staff on more than one occasion last season and each time I was crucified for speaking my mind, on what I perceived to be the problem. This year, a former player can come on here and state the Raceland coaching staff was outcoached and none of the other Raceland supporters bat an eye. The excuse in the past has always been laid on the lack of game plan execution by the players. You can’t have it both ways, so which is it? I love Raceland football as much as the next supporter. There hasn’t been a day that I haven’t followed the goings on of the program, even during my four years in the Navy. I want nothing more than to see this program make it to the highest level possible, but sometimes you have remove the orange tinted glasses and speak the truth. Adding to ignore list in 3....2....1

I think Raceland was looking ahead and sleepwalking through the first half of the Fairview game, I don't expect that to happen two weeks in a row.

Very similar to the season in which Raceland beat Pikeville like a drum during the regular season and lost to them in overtime during the playoffs.

I don't think they will run him out of town or anything like that. I just believe that this is a stop along the way. Somewhere for him to gain some valuable head coaching experience, until a more attractive opportunity arises. Again, these are my opinions.

I don't see Fred Ray as a long term head coach at Fairview. Just my opinion.

This should be another blowout, provided Raceland doesn't overlook the Eagles.

This was a major beatdown! Fairview's line is atrocious on both sides of the ball, I'm not really sure how Roy has passed for the yards that he has.

Messer needs more touches, 21 receptions through five games is not enough for an athlete like him. I'm not trying to bash the coaching staff, I'm just stating my opinion.

I like Raceland in a close one. Should be another physical game.

I've got a funny feeling about this game. I'm not sure the offense is where it needs to be, which is bad enough, but now you throw the whole player dismissed thing on top of it, just not a good feeling. Guys we'll see tomorrow.

I would say that having co-offensive coordinators has something to do with the dysfunction of the offense.

This was another weird one to me. The defense played good, but the offense, that's another story. I know the Rams are good, I'm just not sure how good, especially with the schedule we've played up until now.

Big win by Russell. I'm not sure about either one of these teams. Russell is supposed to be in a transition period, they had a rough one against Greenup and got thrashed on by Ironton. Ashland was supposed to have some sort of unstoppable two headed monster with the combo of Baker and Long. Is Russell better? Is Ashland worse? How long before the faithful start calling for Coach Love's head on a platter?

Ashland has some issues, but nothing that can't be fixed over the next few weeks. The line still needs to gel a bit, they need to feed the ball to Jake Long a bit more and most of all, I think they need to choose one offensive coordinator, just my opinion.

Raceland will win this one, but if the Rams are gonna blow this one out of the water, then they need to find some improvement along the offensive line.

This will get ugly, should be a good opportunity for some of the younger guys to get some reps.
