Rams win a wild one. Coal Grove was leading at the half. Rams came out playing "Ram Pride football " and took over the game in the 2nd half. Coal Grove scored late to make it look a little better.

Raceland had around 350yds. rushing. 2 Rams were over 100yds. !

I guess this one answered all the doubters about Raceland losing due to the controversy this past week. I thought, posted that imo Raceland kids would bond even tighter and come out playing great. I'm just glad to get something right for a change. lol

The guys played great. One thing we need to work on is the penalties. Too many tonight.

Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face.

This game of football makes no sense.Raceland can't run the ball all year then they play the biggest and best team of the year and runn for 350 yards.good win Rams you got punched in the nose and fought through it.CG has a very good team.I believe if they would work in a little bit of a passing game they would be dangerous.

:lol2::thumb: Exactly, I guess the one or two that got ejected tonight (after their slugging, spearing / cheap shots) had a problem with that. Apparently no one told them that in KY., if you run the football that the opposing defense is allowed to and will hit you. Who Knew ?? :lol2:

Thy did work in little bit of passing: 135 yards worth & two TD receptions.

IMO, best game the offensive line has played this year. We established the run game early and often. Colegrove came out in the second half in a five man front on defense and we threw a couple over their heads. After that happened, they went back to their four man front and sent backers nearly every play. The offensive line picked the backers up pretty well last night. Great game with a great atmosphere.

Question for the Raceland fans, do you play Pikeville this year? I remember you playing in the past I believe and for some reason thought you may be in the same district, even though the schools are not very close, If so when and where? I may try to catch that one if you do play.

JDE, we do not play during the regular season but should Pikeville run the table in their district, which they should, and we run the table in ours, we should meet up in the third round of the playoffs. Raceland's district and Pikeville's district play each other in the first three rounds.
