Bill Musick should consider a career in politics.

Just read the article, nothing is official until the KHSAA presents their findings, but Musick expects a post season ban, among other things. He also threw everyone under the bus and came out smelling like a rose.

Seems to me that there was a kid from Paris, back in the 90's who got an extra year. I think it had something to do with health problems his senior, maybe heart problems. Anyway, he played an extra year and I wanna say that he was two years out of high school when it finally happened. I could be totally wrong on all of this.

I know the history of Raceland football, I was in the program from the third grade until I graduated. I experienced my fair share of disappointing games. Vanderhoof elevated this program to heights it had never experienced and I just feel like it has taken two steps back since he left. I haven't placed any blame on these kids, these kids can only go as far as their coaches can lead them.

No, but I'm entitled to my opinion, I don't have to sit back and sugar coat everything like the rest of you. I'm not the only fan out here questioning things, I'm just one of the few who will voice their concerns. I've also noticed that nobody will answer my questions about how many toss up games Raceland has won since Maynard took over. Obviously whomever is doing the game planning isn't getting it done. Goble gashed Raceland's defense for 162 yards, most of those between the tackles. I don't think anything I am saying is way out in left field. These are my opinions, if you don't like them, don't read them.

I would take coach Vanderhoof back hands down, any day of the week. I don't believe coach Maynard has the emotional ties to the school that are required for the job. This is one of the most talented teams Raceland has ever fielded, you can keep blaming it on the kids all you want, but it still comes down to the coaches. Where's the energy? It hasn't been consistent all year. I saw too many kids dropping their heads last night, that's like blood to a shark and only makes the other team want it more. Talk to Nathan McPeek and how he instructs his kids to keep busting away, because Raceland will break. I'm sorry, these are the facts as I see them and I'm going to keep stating them week in and week out. You seem to know so much about this team and the coaching staff, tell me how many games that they've won that they weren't heavily favored in? I can't think of one. What is it? I don't know. Maybe the kids that have been starting since they were sophomores are burnt out or maybe it's the coaching staff. The all or nothing defense is killing us, we leave our corners on an island by themselves too much. Our linebackers don't read and react like they should. All I have heard for the last two years is how great of an offensive and defensive line Raceland has, well, this game was lost one on the line of scrimmage. Why does it take so long for Salmons to get a play in? Elkins is a three year starter, he should be calling some of the plays at the line of scrimmage by now. Why does the passing game get shut down as soon as we throw a pick?

I misstated about Beach and Coal Grove, if CG doesn't get back in the game, then the onside kick would never be in play and the spear would never occur. And, your comment about 15-18 year old kids, last time I checked, every team in the state of Kentucky put their fate in kids that fall in the same age group.

When this coaching staff wins a game that Raceland isn't heavily favored in, they will gain my respect. Ridicule me all you want, each and everyone of you, I am going to continue to speak my mind after each game. If you don't like it, contact Guru or whomever and my membership revoked and kick me off of this site!!!

This team has been playing up and down for weeks. They scored 35 points in the second against Coal Grove and almost managed to give that game away. I had a bad feeling about this game before kickoff, but we came out on offense and took it straight down the field, but I was fooled. The fumble return for a TD was huge, I don't think we ever regained any kind of composure after that. I know Beach was out and that's a big cog that is missing, but if you don't let CG back in the game last week, he never gets thrown out of the game. If you're going to run a spread offense, you have to have the intestinal fortitude to throw the ball. Every time Elkins throws an interception, Salmons shuts the passing game down, Messer and Vance are too good of alto stand out on the edge with their hands on their hips. This team has been called one of the best teams ever, but it's more like one of the most talented ever, to have a great team, you have to have great coaches. I'm so frustrated right now!! I also understand that I will be ridiculed for speaking what I believe to be the truth.

Lawrence gets the ball first in the second half. Raceland is playing flat and uninspired, they seem to just be going through the motions. I don't understand the infatuation with running so many QB sneaks. If Lawrence scores on the first drive of the second half, we could be in trouble.

I think this will get ugly. East Ridge has a deceptive 4-1 record, against some subpar talent.
