Raceland coming into the contest with a 7-1 record and a blowout win over Fairview 48-6. Paintsville is coming in with a 7-1 record as well and a blowout win over Nicholas County. The Rams' loss came from an unpredictable Ashland and lost by five. Paintsville's only loss came from a high flying Pikeville Panther team 62-8.

With that being said, this is now the district championship game. Both teams are at their peaks right now. Raceland is trying to defend their district title from last year but Paintsville has shown that they are true contenders is 1A.

Who wins and why?

I'll be talking about this one on Monday, I am enjoying the beatdown of the school in Westwood this weekend.

Tic Tock

running clock!!! Why because Raceland is just that much better than Paintsville.

RAMS by 3+ TD's. Too versatile on offense & too good defensively.

Its a good day to be a RAM!

Raceland wins by 20.

I see a 3+ TD win for our Rams.

I can see Rams winning but I'm really not sure by how much.

I'm going to say

Rams 42

Tigers 12

Raceland 45

Paintsville 14

GO RAMS

GO RAMS

Thanks 57!

Huge game this week! You must prepare, the scout team must work hard and do what they are supposed to do. Coach Salmons will have a great game plan for this Friday. You must stick to the plan.

"The will to prepare must be greater than the desire to win."

Paintsville picked up a burner who played for the first time last week. Could be a different Paintsville team that has played all year. This game will be won upfront. That with the home field will provide enough for the Raeland win. May be a little closer than you think however.

Very good point.
