Paintsville is for real, should our Rams let up one play then that's a Paintsville score. Let up any more play then the Tigers are district champions.

Much has been said about the Rams offense, scoring but jmo it may over shadow this defense. The Rams "Orange Crush Defense" has been excellent all season with several of the scores against them coming late in games vs. the JV and at times Freshmen teams due to big leads, not running up scores and my main gripe the 35 point running clock rule should imo be 42 or mandatory substtution of all starters eule). Two of Raceland's games this season went to a running clock before the half and I believe one or two more were running clock games. One game I believe the jv, fr teams came in early to prevent a running clock so reserves could play with regular time, more experience with that.

Raceland has had a relentless work ethic all season, it started back in the spring, even before with weight training, running. That work ethic is exactly what has carried this team through the season to this point ....on the verge of District Title #20 (I believe) in school history. Friday night is also Senior tribute night, last regular season home game. The Rams will no doubt have to fight through those emotions and remain focused on their game plan set by coach Salmons.

All said and done I have to go with our Rams.

Rams 34

Tigers 15

Since 2006, Raceland is 34-8 at Home. I'll say the home field advantage helps us pull through again this week.

I am wrong! My numbers are incorrect. Dating from 2006 to present day, Raceland is 42-9 at Home. This includes Playoff games.

5 of the 9 losses occurred in '06 (2), '07 (2) and '08 (1). We have only 1 Home loss in the past 3 years and that was to Lawrence Co. last year.

'06 and '08 losses were their only losses of the season, (11-2 & 12-1 respectively). 2 were Regional Championship games, '06 NewCath and '08 LCA. '06 lost 21-10 to LCA in the regular season as well.

Do you have statistics of the last few years for area teams and their records at home?

Awesome statistic for the Rams but if you don't mind me asking, how did the Rams have homefield advantage in the regional finals if they lost a district game to LCA at home that season(06)?

06 was a loss to NCC in the playoffs, the loss to LCA was 08 after Raceland beat LCA in the regular season at Raceland.

06 lost to LCA in regular season and NCC in playoffs

08 Lost to LCA in playoffs only.

Regional Championship games alternate. It was our District to Host. Plus, NCC was the 4 seed and we were the 2 seed. We beat LCA in the playoffs to avenge the regular season loss in '06.

Interested in Ashland' date=' Ironton, and Russell.[/quote']

What years? 2006 to present?
