Yea, one of the Huntington/Fairview holdovers looking for a place to play. I think he has been at something like four different schools this year already.

The KHSAA will disagree with me, but this is where the "out-of-state loophole" holds true. If a player wants to be eligible, all they have to do is transfer out-of-state for a week, then transfer back to a Kentucky school. I have never seen a player ruled ineligible doing this, something like 40-0 so far.

Yep, too many to count that the school in West Ashland had become "conviently" eligible the week before the Raceland / school mentioned above were playing.

We have had multiple encounters with situations like this one, but I do have to say, we have responded well. Looking forward to this game between the Tigers and Rams.

Wow! But with that said...Paintsville is a pretty hefty haul from Huntington and Ashland. It looks like the kid clearly has a legitimate change of address so should he not be eligible? It is odd that he has tried to transfer to 1A Fairview and 1A Paintsville. One wouldn't think either school would be the best option for exposure or even a State Title if the family was looking to only be making a move for football reasons? Curious case.

He was adopted by a man in Paintsville.

Yes, he last played at Fairview but has been at schools in all 3 states trying to become eligible....and so he is.

False statement . He never played at Fairview nor even practiced at Fairview . He tried 2 different times to enroll at Fairview , both times Fairview denied his enrollment . He never even as much went to school 1 day at Fairview . Get your facts straight please

Talon is behind the scenes at West Ashland. Better get it together, doc. ;)

He is 18yrs old , & was 18 when he tried to enroll at Fairview . He wasnt adobted , & he doesnt live with that family full time either .

I have no idea what you mean by west Ashland? I live in Westwood which isnt part of Ashland , & i am employed at Fairview schools .

You must know Hendricks very personally to have all of this information if you're just a faculty member at Fairview schools.

Interesting you know how old he is today and how old he was when he enrolled....interesting.

I didn't say he was adopted (Raceland version of "adobted") in Fairview. He was adopted by a Paintsville attorney. That comes straight from Paintsville administration which my aunt works and has for several years. I see no reason for them to lie about that.

You're in Boyd County and most people call it an armpit (I've heard worse), I think you should take West Ashland and be happy.

On a serious note, since you work at F'view, how is Alex Roy's knee?

The scheme he tried at Fairview is the same he is doing at Paintsville . No he was not adopted by that Paintsville player's attorney daddy . Yes i know Hendricks family well , & i do know the truth

I'd rather live in the armpit of Boyd County than to live in the Butt crack of Greenup Co
