Regional Championship games alternate. It was our District to Host. Plus, NCC was the 4 seed and we were the 2 seed. We beat LCA in the playoffs to avenge the regular season loss in '06.

That's right, I had forgotten that you used to be paired up with teams from your own district in the first two rounds of the playoffs.

Paintsville apparently has a new player that became eligible this past week against Nicholas County.

His name is Donte Hendricks and he transferred from Cabell Midland, WV. Kid is a burner!

Still think Raceland gets a nice win here..but this kid may bust a couple long ones on Raceland.

Yes, he last played at Fairview but has been at schools in all 3 states trying to become eligible....and so he is.

Interested in Ashland' date=' Ironton, and Russell.[/quote']

I have Ashland and Russell broken down from 2006 through their last Home games of this year. Both teams are finished with their home regular season schedule for 2014.

Russell has had 58 Home games with a record of 40-18.

Ashland has had 57 home games and have a record of 42-15.

Ironton to come later......

What years? 2006 to present?

If you don't mind, yes.

We also said that Belcher would be a great at Paintsville, but Paintsville doesn't have a great line- not a low blow for the Tigers of Belcher at all. However, I still think the Rams pull it out. BUT, Rams, DO NOT overlook this team!

Trust me, no one at Raceland is overlooking Paintsville.

2006 to present, Ironton has played 47 home games to date. Their Home record is 33-14.

Yea, one of the Huntington/Fairview holdovers looking for a place to play. I think he has been at something like four different schools this year already.

The KHSAA will disagree with me, but this is where the "out-of-state loophole" holds true. If a player wants to be eligible, all they have to do is transfer out-of-state for a week, then transfer back to a Kentucky school. I have never seen a player ruled ineligible doing this, something like 40-0 so far.

Home field advantage since 2006 to date;

Raceland 42-9 82%

Ashland 42-15 74%

Ironton 33-14 70%

Russell 40-18 69%

I find that very interesting. That is a great statistic for the top area programs. Very curious to see other teams from 1A around the state and where Raceland stands within the state.

I don't have time to do that. LOL

I know. LOL. If someone gets bored this week, there is something they can do!:thumb:

Wow!

But with that said...Paintsville is a pretty hefty haul from Huntington and Ashland. It looks like the kid clearly has a legitimate change of address so should he not be eligible?

It is odd that he has tried to transfer to 1A Fairview and 1A Paintsville. One wouldn't think either school would be the best option for exposure or even a State Title if the family was looking to only be making a move for football reasons? Curious case.

Trust me.....WVA / Huntington (Cabell and others) transfers we are used to seeing. :lol2:

They end up hurting the team more than helping usually. :idunno:
