Great game. Raceland imo should have won the game. They missed a couple of xtra pt. kicks, had 2 t/o's on their first two drives of the game that appeared to be heading for a td. Raceland gets a penalty on another 1st/goal along with a bad snap stopping the drive.

Kudos to Ashland, their kids hung in and kept playing tough when Raceland's O line was dominating the game. Ashland's speed, big plays were the difference. Good luck to the Tomcats the rest of the way.

Raceland dominated the stats, out gained Ashland by well over 100 yds.. D. Beech had over 160 yds. rushing for Raceland.

Ashland's Hunter Prince was the difference for Ashland, had a great game.

Absolutely Doc. I was very pleased with the intensity that our Raceland kids played with, cannot fault anyone for not playing hard tonight. The Rams will rebound.

Tough loss, Rams.. At the same time, you proved you'll be a big time player in 1A this year. No disgrace losing to a much larger class school, a pretty good one, at that.

The kids played their hearts out. The line on both sides of the ball played to their potential and Cane Snyder had a coming out party, IMO!!

Thanks MHSCardinal. Sounds like you had an exciting game as well.

No doubt. Tough, tough game and fortunate to have came out on top. McCracken's a heck of a team. A lot of great athletes and a huge line. The Cards were totally gassed late in that game, but, still played very well and showed a lot of heart and championship pedigree. Wouldn't surprise me a bit to see McCracken run the table the rest of the way and make a solid run in the playoffs.

MHS, thank you and I wish your guys luck the rest of the way. Unless that we both make it to the Championship game of course. lol

Well, I was wrong. I said who ever controlled the line of scrimmage would win. Raceland dominated the line of scrimmage and lost.

From a fan's standpoint, this was a great game, lots of hard fought yards, big players and exciting. Congratulations to Ashland. Prince was the difference. Raceland had the game plan to stop Baker and did a great job in that regard, but Prince stepped up and carried Ashland.

Rams played hard and truly left everything they had on the field. Great game.

How many yards did Baker end up getting?

Raceland had a great game plan to stop him. The problem was the Ashland's QB Prince decided to take the rushing game on himself.
