At this point yes, we are still 3 weeks away from tourney time. Lots can happen. There are 4, maybe 5 teams that could win it. I still think Mason Co. is the slight favorite.

That's a stretch. Not all districts are peachy keen all the time.

Good to see @lawildcat tonight. Managed to see the @BirdBrain from afar. Now the game. A pretty even game. Scott shot the ball well tonight and made the key baskets. The Lady Royals did not shoot well at all, plus missed quite a few at the line. Overall, the Lady Eagles gritted out the win. I thought the Lady Eagles handled the passive press easily. They also kept the Lady Royals from opening it up. It is evident when the game is wide open the Lady Royals can play. Likely these two could meet again.

Yes, but not at the same time and different districts. If a person retires in Kentucky after 33+ years and made 6 figures for at least three years, plenty of those in high population centers in the state,90k in retirement is the pay. I would bet there are easily over a hundred in Kentucky that draw that much. Look at principal pay in Jefferson County alone.

The only thing that I can think is that the law changed and they have grandfathered these guys I know in. That's possible because haven't kept up but I know they are still getting it.

Well, I was a former Superintendent in Kentucky and so was my wife. She had three employees who drew their KTRS pension and then drew a full classified salary. All were district employees that still make 90K as classified employees and two make that much in pension. So both of them are bringing home 180 K As I stated, certified and classified are in two different retirement systems. Now I work part time in a district as a certified employee and my salary is capped. I pay into a 2nd pension through KTRS on the capped salary. Don't know where you are getting your information but they are telling you incorrectly. If you need help having someone navigate this PM me.

Yes he can if he takes a classified position he goes into different retirement other than KTRS. It is done a lot more than people think.
