Who was a better host for the 39th District Tournament.

The Fieldhouse has space, but the Igloo has atmosphere.

Popcorn is better at Mason Co. :lol2:

Parking is better at mason

Facilities are better at Mason

Brought this up because of the recent vote to have it at Mason county.

...but remember, when it comes to voting in the 39th, it's not about what's best for the masses.

Bracken County had to see this coming, right? Or did it believe that it could cancel the away games with Augusta and St. Patrick but still have Augusta and St. Patrick vote in favor of allowing Bracken County to host the district tournament every other year?

Does Bracken still make you park at one school and bus to the gym? I was there for a district tournament between Pendleton and Brossart in 2005 (?) and that was a nightmare.

I know they've used the bus idea in the past and I assume that's still there plan for the over flow parking.

Probably won't be a future problem for many years.

So now when I have to park at Straub will Mason bus me to the front door?

You will gladly walk because you know it means your team has finally made it back to the regional tournament.

District is held at the Fieldhouse now, so no it doesn't mean you have made it to region.

And if there is that big of a crowd at the district, you will also be glad because it means your team gets a more valuable cut of the pie.

The atmosphere at Bracken has been phenomenal the last couple of times they have hosted.
