Solid info Vito. Can't help but refer to my Post#39. Thought the gym capacity was 2,000+. If the paid attendance for the Championship game was 1,448 then who were the 500 given preferential access that were in the gym when the doors opened (and not part of the paid attendance)? Seems like a lot of passes and anyone at that game would agree it was packed. More upset about freezing in line for extended time before gates opened to assure getting a decent seat.

The band is the reason for that, it takes up a lot of seating.

I need to check into this because I stood in line with everyone else, can not believe out of 500 people getting in free that I don't crack that list.:idunno:

It's fine to vote what's best for your school, but when u get old voted that's simple math I'd think, 3 voted for Mason to host 1 vote for bracken !!

You're right.

Makes no sense. This vote can have a majority, but the commissioner has to step in. The draw/seed vote can be split, but requires no stepping in.

I agree totally opie and now I have a funny feeling that mason,Augusta and st.pat will vote as a unit on the host and seed/draw next time.

I'm an outsider on this but if the vote is 3-1 don't you guys think that if the Commissioner has to step in and make the final decision that he won't side with the 3 schools who voted for this in the first place instead of the 1 especially since it is their own gym. I think it will carry a lot of weight that the other 2 schools both voted for Mason Co. jmo

I very highly doubt the commissioner will take away Bracken's pick at hosting district.

So you are saying the commissioner will side with one school and against the wishes of 3 schools? I just think he will weigh heavily that both St. Pat and Augusta also voted to play at Mason. But like I said that is just my opinion.

Vito I think you have your poll numbers on this matter and a 3-1 school vote of what people are in favor of.

The band is the reason for that, it takes up a lot of seating.

Golly, Vito, your tongue-in-check sarcasm starting to sound like Honcho! LOL

Here's what I think. Every school gets put into the rotation.

Augusta and St. Pat facilities aren't capable of hosting the large district crowds, however, they should get to pick where they want to play if it's their turn to host.

Bracken still gets there chance to host when it's their turn in the rotation.

Mason County's band last year took up that the whole lower section the the corner. That's about 75 seats.

This seems fair to me.

And with the way the stars are currently aligned, it looks like the Igloo will host once every four years instead of every other year.

The probable result of the taking my ball and going home decision. Just a guess as to how it will play out and why.

This is the way it is done in the 64th District I believe Fairview and Rose Hill host at either Ashland or usually Boyd Co. not sure about Fairview but I know Rose Hill has done that in the past.
