How can they not be? They've knocked off what I believe are four of the top five teams in the region in Mason, Clark, Campbell and Nicholas. They may not have the best record, but right now, in my opinion, they have the best team! Stay tuned, this region could be a fight to the finish!

Scott has been playing well, with some very scrappy play of late. I think they are playing the best right now, but I still think that if the Mason Seniors start playing at the level they are able, no one in the region can stop them. But don't sleep on GRC either!

At this point yes, we are still 3 weeks away from tourney time. Lots can happen. There are 4, maybe 5 teams that could win it. I still think Mason Co. is the slight favorite.

I like MC, GRC and Scott as the top 3 (in any order you want). CC and NC 4 and 5.

 

Whoever is hot can wit it all.

Take the top 4 and pick them out of a hat, with Nicholas as a nice sleeper. Should be an entertaining regional!

 

Campbell or Scott is going to come out of the 37th as a district runnerup, which will probably result in a barnburner of a first-round game.

I'd like to see if they could beat GRC, Mason or Campbell outside of Taylor Mill.
