Nelson Co has to stay in 6A next season due to they have to wait until the next realignment takes place. As far as TNHS from what I understand they will be JV only due to the fact schools just signed new 2 year contracts and it would be difficult for them to pick up games and they will have no seniors.

Bardstown is playing extremely well right now, I look for them to upend Etown in the finals by 10-15 points.

If Bethlehem comes out ready to play like they did last friday and are very physical once again, I could see them pulling off another upset. However Holy Cross has a real good football team, so if the Eagles dont come out ready to play it will be a long night on Dixie Hwy for them...

Hats off too the Eagles tonight, they showed up ready to play and put 4 quarters of solid football together. But also have to give props to the Rockets as they are a very good football team as well.

Wanting thoughts and comments on who wins this one? Bethlehem is coming in off 2 straight losses and a little beat up, where KCD is coming in averaging close to 45 points a game. I think Bethlehem gets off losing streak and takes this one Friday night

I have to argue that Bethlehem is not a top 10 team, against Cville the eagles played by far there worst game of the season and still won. Last week this same team took the # 2 team in class A to the wire, with 6 min to go in the game the score was 17-14. Im not saying Bethlehem will win this one but it will be a battle..

Washington Co will finish 2nd in their district only to lose to Danville. However as saying Bardstown and Danville are there only tests left is nuts, they do play Bethlehem this week which will be a test for them as well

This game will decide the district championship. Holy Cross looks to be rolling coming in have beaten very good competition, as well they should be haven returning 17 starters from last year. However as stated above Bethlehem returned alot from last year as well, and is showing signs of turning the corner. I expect a very good football game on Friday night and I am going with Bethlehem at home.

Hearsay, I hope you are eating crow tonight, and the Eagles do have 2 corners in Jordan Coooper and Austin Downs that can cover Cosby. Will Cosby make some catches, sure he will,but I dont look for the Eagles to give up the big play to them. I think this one will be a heck of a ballgame but if Bethlehem can contain Brewer and not let him get out of the pocket then the Eagles should take this one. If Brewer runs wild it will be along night for Bethlehem..

Bethlehem was lucky to win this one, and this is one of the greatest high school games that I have seen...Jordan Cooper is one great athlete and looks so smooth in what he does....

I might end up eating my words but that is ok, but Bethlehem is going to be to big and strong up front for Knox. Knox does have alot of speed and I will give them that, but I think Bethlehem win this one 28-7

The Eagles will be okay this year as they return on offense 3 starting lineman and their top offensive threat from a year ago in Clay Owens. Look for sophmore Jordan Cooper to step in at qb. On Defense is where they will be strong as they return 7 starters. Also the Eagles will be under new guidance this year as Ron Koontz long time assistant from Bardstown steps in as the new head man..
