Bethlehem 28 Crittenden County 14

Featured Replies

Final, per the Scoreboard. This has to be an upset, Bethlehem had an ungodly amount of injuries.

Is this a upset?

Technically, but not really. Bethlehem was a top 10 team until both of their QBs went down with shoulder injuries. They're just now getting them back healthy.

Hats off too the Eagles tonight, they showed up ready to play and put 4 quarters of solid football together. But also have to give props to the Rockets as they are a very good football team as well.

Crittenden was shorthanded, with their best two-way lineman breaking his leg against Murray last week and two other two-way starters out for disciplinary reasons.

There was reason to believe that Bethlehem was the second-best team in the district, but that they were hurt big-time by injuries going into the Kentucky Country Day game. I'm told the coaches down here felt that way after watching the game films, and the playoff results seem to bear that out.

Mods: Can we merge the two threads relating to this game? Thanks.

Crittenden County had a couple of starters out to injury and a couple of others for other reasons but still should have won this game.

A team as small as Crittenden can't afford to have so many players out. Losing there best lineman last week to a broken ankle really hurt this team.
