How many kids tryout for u-16 Colonels, or is CovCath just that loaded with underclassman. I know two of the top sophmores are playing for Bluegrass U-16,Embs and Teegarden.

I like to see a roster for Bluegrass Cheifs , I been told this could be Rob Sander best team he has had in a long time.

Highlands was undefeated during the regular season and lost to them in the playoff at Conner with Bob Lewis as their coach and it would be coach Herrman last game to coach for Highlands two of the best coaches around and I think the year was 1983.

I'm not bashing anybody, by the way Shumate played for the 16's Colonels last year and when did CovCath start putting stats in the paper. Actually I have only seen one cov cath kids stats in the paper the past year.. Warning and Gerwe seem to be the ones who are pitching in all the big games,so all I am saying is I think that warning should of pitched a little more last year along with Gerwe who are getting the most inning this year. Why would I be bitter I have no dog in this fight, It just my opinon I must have hit a nerve close to home.

I think alot of people would agree with that even some of the player were talking about it last year but Krump has all the say as he should have.

How did SK lose any games last year with the studs they had, best back in the state best QB in the state and even the best line.

I understand what you are saying, but why throw Shumate more last year than Warning when Warning has pitched more inning this year. I have watch both pitch this past summer and Warning was far the better pitcher not saying Shumate is bad but Warning was better and in most coaches eyes he is still better so what happen last year 24 inning for Shumate and 3inning for Warning to me that is a big different. The best of luck to PK, he a great kid.

Come on Pirate, I'm waiting to hear how bad the coaching and players are for Beechwood, time is running out. I'll go with the bad coaching and the kid who can't pitch or hit and surely can't play the infield, good luck to both teams.

How many times has Covcath AD offer to do the PA. IT really not that big of a deal, been to alot of games where their are no PA I find it strange that you would make such a big deal about it, is it because it Highlands.

I hope you are right, they could use the help but don't see waggs coaching at Campbell this year or next until their is some changes in the way it is being run.

I don't think that waggs would work with sipple any more.

If kelly had to play Highlands twice he would have 300 less yards than he had.

Come on now, Beechwood made the plays and NCC did not. Error on SS for NCC and Beechwood SS made the play he had to, NCC catcher let balls get past him and Beechwood scores two runs, Beechwood catcher blocked every ball in the dirt so runner never could move over or steal, is that being lucky or just better defense.:idunno:

NO way will Campbell be in the top 10 at the end of the season, you have to score to win games. Who cares if your QB throws for 1500 yards when you never win, they had alot of player who could run the ball last year and choose not to use them, most QB would have the stat their QB had if they would throw 40 time a game. They still were one of the lowest scoring teams in NKY and never try to do anything difference.

Their number 1 Meyer, from what I understand Beechwood hit the ball really well and jump out to and early lead in the second inning. Great job by such a young team.:dancingpa

IT sounds like the Pirate need to keep rooting for Beechwood.
