What does Capbell County need to do to improve in 2010? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Have lots of talent for sure....need a running attack to go along with a solid passing attack. Kremer is due for another great year...look for Matt Smith to have an impact season. Hodge, Sauerbeck, Franzen should play big roles on both sides of the ball.

Heard Kevin Siple is now on the coaching staff (assume as OC)....good hire.

The team needs to work on being a team together and not divided. The team needs excitement and motiviation from the coaching staff. You just can't put 'Believe' on some T-shirts and make it happen. The raw talent is there, it's up to the coaching staff to bring it out and work it.

Sounds familiar. From what I hear, some addition by subtraction when it comes to the roster might improve the team. As I recall, the coaching staff had a team finish very close to the state runner ups just a few years ago.

What do the Camels have coming back on the offense and Defensive lines?

If Siple is the OC what happened to Coach Culp?

I have also seen it posted on here in another thread that Sipple was CCHS.

Does anybody know how this affects Coach Culp? I know he loves coaching and loves being at CCHS!

Coach Culp is still a very big part of this coaching staff. Having Siple and Culp on the offensive side of the ball is nothing but a positive for the CAMELS program.

They will need to improve on defense. I believe they gave up twice as many points as they scored.

I also think they only rushed for about 500 yards for the season.

Has coach Wagner from NCC decided if he is staying at NCC? I know he teaches at Campbell County and used to work with Kevin Sipple a few years ago. He be a great compliment to Camp Co's staff. A very reliable source tells me he is not at all happy with the decision to get passed up for the head coaching job at NCC but in typical Wags fashion, loves the kids so much that he may swallow his pride and remain there?

I hear differently.

I hope you are right, they could use the help but don't see waggs coaching at Campbell this year or next until their is some changes in the way it is being run.

What is up with CC's football field? I was there for the track meet last Saturday and it looked awful.

It always is like this at this time of year. The problem with Campbell County's football field during the season it is Berumda grass and it also has the rubber pellets on it or lack there of. The pellets were suppose to be applied a couple of years ago to hold the heat in for the Berumda grass as they made the change to it probably 4 or 5 years ago. If you get close up on the field you can see where the Berumda took and where it never did which came up as weeds. I want to say they are trying to kill off the weeds.

For all that is played on the field they should go to turf. During the week with the middle school programs (I think there are 3 teams), CCYFL, freshman - varsity teams there can be alot of games on this field. I remember at one point there were almost 20 games played on there before the Varsity ever had a game on it.

It is hard to believe someone higher up in the central office does not realize how much traffic/games played on the field.
