  1. GRC kept battling all night. When they could have packed it up, they just kept fighting, hats off to the GRC team. #81 Corey Rogers is one heck of a player with one heck of a motor, and #10 Dini just kept making plays. He had a handful of dropped passes that would have made a difference in the game. HC is a much more explosive offense with Miller at QB, this kid is a beast. HC's linebackers and secondary are inexperienced and got torched all night, unless they get this under control they will just have to outscored their opponents.
  2. It all depends on who will be the QB for HC. If it's WIlliams, it will be a close game. If it's Miller, HC will win 42-14. Miller has taken control of this offense and it's a 180 degree difference, very explosive.
  3. The LaSalle faithful have been talking about this senior class since they were freshmen, and knew they were going to be special. I just don't think Grippa can mess this up, just too much talent. But what's going on with Elder at 2-5, I know they play a difficult schedule, but 2-5?
  4. HC will have most of their players back from suspension, and are putting some players into positions where they belong. It really made a big difference against Station, these players had a great game. It's only taken half the season to figure it out.
  5. Ram, I was thinking the same thing. I've seen some lopsided scores this week, and wondering if these schools really need to drop the footbal program.
  6. Like I said before, HC has many players playing out of position. When one of the best DT's in the state #6 for HC only plays after SK gashes them for a 20 yd run, I just scratch my head. SK brought the house every play, HC never made any adjustments to pick it up. There's some talent on this HC team, it just baffles me how it's not being used properly.
  7. Sk by 14. HC has some talent but in my opinion, many kids are playing out of position. Sk should be able to run the football at will.
  8. Maroon, not so fast my friend, after watching Henry Clay vs. Boone I believe HC is not as good as advertised.
  9. SOunds like PC will give Henry Clay all they want, and then some.
  10. Boone shoved the ball down HC's throat. HC didn't make any adjustments on defense. HC also had 2 TD's called back due to penalties. Oppenheimer just ran his tail end off, very tough kid. It's going to be a long season for the Devils.
  11. Great win for the Cards during such an emotional time.
  12. HC has many questions that need to be answered, losing their LB's, 3 of their 4 DB's, and 3 on the OL. They will be much smaller than LY, and won't have as many weapons as they did LY. They should be a top 5 team in 6A, but alot will depend on how quickly the rising juniors develop.
  13. What kind of size does Oppenheimer have, and what schools is he getting interest from?
  14. FBU is run by ex-NFL players and coaches. Everything is filmed and critiqued in the classroom. If you are an MVP, you are invited to their "Top Gun" camp in Orlando,FL. If you make it through that, then you are invited to the U.S. Army All-American camp. FBU teaches proper technique followed up with one on one's. Plenty of one on one time with the coaches and immediate feedback. Well worth the money.
  15. Ryan Smith DT-Henry Clay 6'-1" 295lbs. 345 bench, 600 squat, 4.8 40, 4.33 shuttle, legitimate D1 prospect.
  16. NUC will be at Tates Creek Saturday for current freshmen and sophomores, juniors on Sunday.
  17. Football University is also coming to Lexington, May 14-16. http://www.footballuniversity.com
  18. Henry Clay Elijah Barnett-Morehead Branden Johnson-Dayton Andrew Wolter-EKU Tyrelle Johnson-EKU
  19. Station has a JR. OT, Miller, that's a beast. He'll be a big time recruit in 2011.
  20. FBU is run by ex-NFL players and coaches. They put the kids through drills and one-on-ones, the cool thing is that everything drill and one-on-one is filmed and evaluated in the classroom. Last year they held a camp in Nashville, and if you stand out they do a video of you and may invite you to their Top Gun camp in Florida. You can see a video, if you go to footballunversity, click on FBU TV, and click on Nashville.
  21. Are these invitation only or open to all players? They're open to all players. NUC costs about $85, and FBU is about $600.
