ask anyone who attended the jv/freshmen games and they could tell you there was a huge difference in heart and passion from the kids led by the assistant coaches. Also, the 3wks the coach was suspended things we more serious and the team played hard. Ultimately, due to injuries, the talent was very, very thin. Lost 2 starting o'lineman in the first 3wks, at a small school this is a killer. There are kids walking the hall and on the team that did not buy into deaton. Dont know why becasue he was a great person.

There are 3 very qualified guys on the staff. I dont agree will getting rid of the staff. They are told to coach a certain way that the head coach desinates. The jv team was very competitive coached by montgomery, walls, and watson. The young kids played hard and disclplined for those coaches. The senior division was also coached by Deaton's bro. There is a lack of quality players in the system. But with right guy, (montogomery,) this could change.

Silver Grove will be very well coached. They will play hard. They have depth and size issues. They played New Richmond very tough and competed with Cooper on Wednesday. Campbell's McGovney will be a handful for the Trains. Campbell might be best shooting team in NKY. Campbell pulls away in 4th.

Camp has been very successful for the Green Devils. Everyday 33+ kids coming to get work done. The line looks solid so does the backs and recievers, alot of speed this year on the field for the Devils.

In the smaller schools (1A) Pompillio for Dayton will be a returning starter as a Junior. He's had his best off season thus far, he's blown up alot since last year.
