I would say no. Not a personal knock on the kid. But when you move up the ladder in jobs you will also move up the ladder in recruiting. Although Cincy is a better team present-day, ND targets the bigger named recruits.

Bell will struggle early. The team is mostly football players and it will take weeks to get in any b-ball shape. They will make some noise after Christmas.

Maybe we can keep the hardware rotating between us for next few years. Bell loses some talented seniors but only 6 of them. I think we have a shot to be in the hunt again next year.

I have heard that as well, about the turf. A program such as Boyle's deserves a first class field. It is a shame that the County schools in this current state of the economy are strapped and can't take care of the athletics programs that are so vital to a school.

I would say he was upset b/c the call did not go thier way? Nobody is making excuses just saying it was a HUGE turning point. Heck everyone can make excuses, seems some Black and Gold fans had plenty last year. Don't make a fire where their is no smoke. Boyle made the plays when they had too, Bell did not. I wish Boyle luck. Most of the fans I talked to were 1st class in every way. I was amazed at how poor the field was. I can see why the Boyle boosters and coaches are very upset at the lack of intrest from the BOE toward the field. It needs some work. Very similar to the issues we have at Bell.

Come up with another maybe b/c that one was not close. #2 had his hands on #7 for Bell as soon as he saw he was beat. IMO that is a heads up play. Could have easily been 6 instead he risked the penalty. #7 just made a heck of a play. I don't think their is a helmet to helmet in HS in the sense you are saying? But the hit was with shoulder anyway. No excuses just saying maybe? Pretty weak call IMO. Never the less Boyle won and is on the way to Bowling Green they have have a great team and program. :clap:

Will not be close if Boyle come ready to play. LO had a hard time beating LexCath @ LO and Boyle had very little trouble with LexCath. The LO defense will have a hard time slowing down Boyle. Boyle 35 LO 14

Bad bad weekend in Bell Co. Life is somewhat more important than getting on here and giving congrats. Great game. The turning point was the phanton late hit in the 2nd quarter that set-up Boyle's TD. Who knows if that was the reason they lost but it did still not help. But those things happen unfortunatly with HS officals. :idunno: To that point they had moved the ball very little. Another great game between the too. I really feel for Bell's 6 seniors. The younger kids will get a chance next year. Maybe the Side Judge will not make a call over top of the Back Judge next year. But Congrats to Boyle make us all proud in BG.

Alcoa and Johnson Central is really the only 2 teams to move the ball on the ground early against Bell this season. Most of those yards in the other games came in garbage time anyway. Bell is not a team driven by stats in any way. They are worried about end results. They could set records, they could have RB's with 3,000 yards over the years. They just worry about the results. Here is a stat, Coach French is 0-3 against Coach Hilton.

Well you all stubbled onto our on-demand what do you think about our "little Bobcats?"

Bell has a decent defense. They hit a little bit. A bunch of those kids started last year aginst Boyle. Hilton, Lawson, Carton, Cody Davenport, Marcum, Lowe, Mills, Raines and Brown. They bring a little bit when hit ya. I think the preasure is on both offense's. I trust Coach Hilton running the Bell offense will find a way to score a few points. McShara did not play the whole game last year. Seems like a hit by Hilton and Lawson put him on the sideline with an ankle in the 4th quarter?

I think Marion has a good shot. They run the ball well and make few mistakes. LO's run defense is good but looks even better b/c most of its opponents are usually behind the 8 ball and try to catch-up through the air. Marion is coached by a former Bell player and asst. Coach so I will pull for them. Marion 35 LO 28

If not for the Penalty you spoke of it would have been 4th and Goal from the 3. The flag moved in up to the 1.5. It would not have been 4th and long. Good luck to LC next year.

The first player ejected for LC cursed the officals and Bell players on 2 occasions and swung on a Bell player near the goaline. He got warned on the first, flaged on the 2nd and 3rd offense and was thrown out as he should have been. Low class. I have been around football a long, long time and have never seen 2 individuals on 1 TEAM act that way. On the other hand LC had some very respectful fans and players. Very classy on the field. I overheard a few of them apologizing for the behavior of their teammates during the game. I was on the sideline as well, not in the coaching box but near the endzone were the player was ejected.
