When these two meet up it has also been a very competitive match up. Goes all the back to the 1991 Thoroughbred Bowl,1992 Turkey Bowl, 1993 Thoroughbred Bowl and so on. These games have always came down to the fourth quarter if my memory serves me right. Others may be able to elaborate more.

Feeder schools are great BUT this is a different day and age we live in. Kids are not going to set around and wait their turn to play. If you bring in 40 freshman by the time they are Seniors you will have less than 1/2 left and those will be the kids that would play no matter what. So my answer would be feeder schools are great but not the complete reason some schools are sucessful.

This will be good experience for GC. Look what happened to the team that come to Bell last year in the first round.

MCC will score. Watts and Roark are too good. Question is will MCC play some defense. If they do they have a shot.

Not to sound like a someone causing touble. But I think HC was overmatched by more than just #23. Coach Larkey said they "got whipped" in every phase. It seemed they could not tackle #14 Hilton or #22 Mills and cover #28 Davenport either. Or block the DL for Bell. I think #23 is very good but did he make the game 35-7 at the half on his own? With that being said I don't see Bell rolling up a huge score unless Harlan Co. has a bunch of Turnovers and I have yet to see a Larkey team turn the ball over much.
