Good win for Mason espically after being off for almost a week, practices gets old and you just want to play against someone other then the 2nd stringers. Sounds like Setty is really emerging and could be a major player for the next couple years espically next to Pawsat.

Lower bracket looks to be stacked with what could be some awesome games and matchups. If it plays out right it could bring some huge crowds! Sounds like it will be interesting to see who it makes the field of 16.

No. Itd take away from so much history and excitment of playing the game. If they changed the current system Id say my high school basketball watching days would be limited if not over.

I could honestly see either team winning, but biased toward Mason Co I say they win a nail bitter by 4

I dont think it was his athletic ability that made for the return back to MCTC

Good win for Clark Co and nothing for Scott to hang their heads about. Scott is still IMO the 3rd best team in the 10th and this is making things interesting leading up to the Mason vs Clark game!

He is back at Maysville Community College and not attending Georgetown anymore, at least for the time being.

Mason Co by 25ish, I think it could be worse and if the jv guys come in firing it could be. Need to take care of business and then get some rest, no excuse to look past an oppent, espically this being an oppenent that things could get heated very quickly.

Huge win for the Deming program, and would be even better topped off by winning the all a region title. Thats what its all about, giving some of the smaller schools a chance and that what were going to see! Heres hoping that they can pull it out!

Mason Co keeps rolling along and taking care of business. Good road win and should be a pretty easy win coming up against Fleming Co but you can never look past an oppent.

IMO the only time the crowds are huge for Mason Co is when they are playing district on their home court or when its region tourny time. During the season I dont know what the deal is but the attendance is far from what it use to be and it didnt just start happening this year.

Ticket prices, economy, weather(espically for the older fans). Although Mason Co has a very solid team and are very good they dont have that one star player like they did the past 8 years that everyone wants to come night in and night out to see what they could possibly do and admire their talent. I feel as Mcpapa said those star players alone are worth an extra couple hundred fans and bring in people from surronding counties, such as Bracken,Lewis,Fleming etc.

I agree with your reasoning but in the same sense If you go back the past 4-5 years and look at ticket sales I guarantee the numbers would be in decline in every year. IMO the student section hasnt been much since they were pretty big through the 03-06 seasons, youd think alot more students would want to come out and cheer on guys they go to school with and are friends with and support them but I guess not. Not having high caliber players like Lofton and Miller hurt but honestly I dont think the crowds were even huge for Miller last season. The past 3 years when Ive attended games I look around the gym and just think wow the amount of people that use to come compared to now is crazy espically when their putting good teams on the floor. You cant tell me there hasnt been a drop off and if you do Ill honorable take a bow out.

Nice game for the Royals and way to come back and take care of business. Glad to hear Pawsat was back and had a nice game for the Royals, I really think that him and Setty, and of course Middleton will be the key to how far the Royals can go. Glad to hear Wells was there, Id like to see him as he was my coach up until my senior year and havent seen him since the year before the Royals won state tourny last year. As far as the crowds IMO I think that every year since my senior year that they have gotten smaller and smaller, even last year at state tounry the crowd want huge like it was for Mason the past couple times they'd played in the championship game. I feel as though the talent level has fallen off some over the years and ticket prices mixed in could be a key factor that turns some fans away.

Menke with another solid performance, shes going to be a hand full for anyone during her senior year. Good showing by the young Lady Royals. I think their making improvements and growing as a team. Could give someone fits come March.

I said the whole time that Mason and Clark should be put both at 1 whichever way you want to put them but their both the top teams in this region followd by Scott. Even with the injuries I think the Conner game might affect their ratings a little bit.

No, their not assoicated with that school or attend there so why should they be able to play for this team? They should however be able to go to a private school but one that does not annually participate or belong to public school leagues.

Sounds like Menke had another good game then. Nice to see their record starting too look a little better as well.

How many did Menke have? And what does the young Lady Royals record look like now?

Sounds like Setty had his break out game, and they defintley needs these types of games from him but everyone else has to play up too par as well. Mason's had some tough loss's as of lately with this one and Scott County and need to bounce back! If you expect to win you cant have second halfs like they did or it will be an early off season for these fellas.

Ive put Scott as the number 3 team the past couple weeks behind Mason and Clark and right now thats where they should be and are showing they can be a tough out to anyone come region tourny!
