Nice review.. Pulaski County will also play in the KOB The last time Somerset made the region (12/13) they surprised a lot of teams making it to the Regional Championship. The talent is there for a repeat of something similar. Boyle County is the most consistent team in the region and see it being no different this year with their coaching staff and players. I'm predicting this will be the year the Raiders make it back to the regional tournament.. would be the first time since Watts led Raiders in 09/10.

If you say so, Pulaski had a TD called back because of a penalty... Danville has speed but penalties and turnovers killed Pulaski in this one. Danville did add a 50+ yard TD with less than a minute left up 27-14

I was just asking how it was selected? All state existed before stats were even an option to post. I didn't know if it was a committee or if current coaches voted.

Before HS sports and social media took over the world folks looked to start their kids as early as possible. Not so much anymore. The older age may play a part in success when he/she is younger but eventually talent or lack there of shines through. I could count the athletes in my child's school (male athletes) on one hand that will not be 18 by their junior year.

I agree, stats are only as good as the person "sees" it who is keeping the book. It's interesting to follow 2 teams on game changer as what is scored as a hit for one keeper is an error on the other. It also promotes selfishness instead of team first.

Some would just as soon the extra week be at the beginning if you play baseball/softball.
